CoolivingC - Coliving - Coworking - Workplace

I had a reservation and they've left me stranded. They don't answer the phone, messages, or emails. The phone is either switched off or out of coverage, both the landline and the mobile. The door is locked and can only be accessed with a code, which they didn't give me. I booked it through Booking.com, and thankfully they did help and I found other accommodation. This is the first time this has ever happened to me with a place to stay.

The only good thing was the price. Now I understand why. The apartment is in a quiet but dangerous neighborhood. It's full of women with the world's oldest profession and drug addiction. We went four days without hot water and it looks like it will continue that way. The TV can only be used to watch YouTube. The spring mattresses are unbearable. You move and it sounds like a concert. Besides, they dig into you. We had to change the trash cans in the kitchen and bathroom because the cleaner didn't come during our entire stay. And we used the kitchen roll in the bathroom because once we ran out, no one came to replace it. There's no elevator. The terrace is disgusting. VERY dirty. There's air conditioning, but they don't give you the remote; you have to make do with the ceiling fan. Communication with them before arriving at the accommodation was nonexistent; they didn't answer messages on booking.com or the phone. Summary: For 5 or 7 euros more per day there are better options.

A terrible experience. There's air conditioning, BUT THEY DON'T GIVE YOU THE REMOTE CONTROL. We had no hot water all weekend, and they offered no solution. The WhatsApp support they provide is awful; they're rude, don't answer, and offer no solutions. In short: terrible.

A disgrace. Showers without hot water. We've contacted the owner several times and received no response. Completely disappointing.

A budget-friendly option if you're in Las Palmas, but be warned: keep your belongings very secure because I caught the cleaning lady trying to enter my room, thinking I wasn't there. It was outside of her cleaning shift. The receptionist was lovely; she helped me store my luggage after checkout. The hotel has coded locks on the doors, which is very convenient when you don't want to see anyone when checking in.

I stayed for a week and I have to say I didn't lack anything. The apartment has a bathroom, a kitchen, and three bedrooms. The bedrooms are very large with a wardrobe, a bed, and a desk. Everything is very comfortable and close to the main attractions. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The value for money is excellent. In short, everything is 5 stars.

The experience was great. I traveled alone, and both Vivíana and Fernanda helped me every step of the way; they're wonderful. It's about a 10- to 15-minute walk from the San Telmo bus station, an important point to keep in mind if you want to get around the island comfortably. At night, you can't hear a thing, and you can sleep peacefully. It's very safe, clean, well-located, and offers excellent service.

Very new clean.nice place.. I like they put one small bottle water in room thanks. Nice top roof garden. Very good wife. Kitchen it have all stuff for you cook. Near to beach 15 - 20min walk beach. 2 min big souper market. 2 min granier bakery nice. Bust station near. Easy accept keys with app Open door. neat place owner cares.hair dryer. Shampou. kitchen paper towels very clean and for hands in the kitchen. room fragrance everywhere. nice lamps in the room make a nice atmosphere.Bed tough and the pillows on the bed were not so comfortable too thin. No Chanel Spain but nice it have Netflix YouTube. The canteras beach district 30-40min walk normal areal this for out night. it must include the aircontition but ok or one fan because I close the windows because it had full big Mosquitoes. From the thirt floor this girl many noisy 2 3 o clock morning and again from morning noisy. some didn't care or didn't know how to close the entrance door so it wouldn't make any noise. Simply. I hope the owner will appreciate the good things I have written and not just Focus I have only written about the negatives to make it better

I stayed for a month in 2021 and returned for a week this month, in my opinion best coliving place in GC, room and bed is comfortable, feeling that you live in a nice and clean apartment with kitchen and bathroom. I enjoyed the rooftop during evenings. Location is great as it’s one block from the coast with biking lanes and inbetween of Catalina and old town to enjoy both sides of LPA. With city bike all is close. Fully recommended for digital nomads.

Stayed for couple of weeks. No dedicated workspace, power sockets are in inconvenient places. No washing machine (you have to pay extra). No air conditioning (you have to pay extra). Owner seems a bit weird if other people come to visit you - I got an unpleasant message from him demanding to explain who my visitor was, the owner threatened to call the police when my friend came without me using my key to pick up something from my room.

New property located in a quiet area. Common areas are cleaned daily, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the staff is friendly and helpful. You can work comfortably at the desk in your room, thanks to the fast and reliable internet connection.

Excellent experience. I stayed at CoolivingC for over a month. Very clean: common areas cleaned daily, rooms cleaned weekly. Comfortable room, king-size bed, very bright. Fast internet. The owner and staff were super helpful! Both with small issues (e.g., a WiFi outage, fixed in an hour) and with tips and suggestions about the city. The terrace is always open, perfect for lunch/dinner or just relaxing. Strategic location, halfway between Vegueta and the Las Canteras area. The perfect place for those—like me—traveling to Las Palmas and looking for a quiet place to work. See you soon!

Excellent indeed

I spent a week on vacation at CoolivingC… A beautifully renovated building with welcoming rooms, and shared spaces that were always spotlessly clean every morning. Wi-Fi was fantastic, and Netflix was in the room. The location is not bad at all… just a few minutes' walk or bike ride (available 50 meters away via the Sitycletta app at a really affordable price) from the new and old towns… Everything you need is nearby, including a supermarket, bus stop, and excellent bars for breakfast. The staff were very helpful, and they can arrange experiences directly with them… canyoning (highly recommended).

A very clean and well-located place. Close to several green areas in the city and with easy access to the entire island. Above all, the WiFi network is excellent.

I stayed in the CoolivingC for a couple of weeks. The day I arrived, everything was very clean. Easy access. Really good wifi, big room and a big table to work. It‘s in the center of Las Palmas, near to big supermarkets and the beach. Buses are near to get everywhere on the island. Perfect to combine work and freetime.

Very dirty room. Hair everywhere; I found a dirty towel under the bed and a snack wrapper. Air conditioning was advertised, but only for a fee. I repeatedly asked about the lack of toilet paper in the bathroom, which was refilled the next day. Dear manager, regarding your response about my not staying in one of the rooms, I'm sorry to contradict you, but you need to double-check your reservations, since my name is there, indeed. Regarding your response to my negative review, I wanted to point out that I didn't use offensive words, whereas you did. I can advise you to be more humble and accept negative reviews to resolve the issue, rather than attacking the customer.

Pictures misleading, service subpar, the 3 rooms shared THE SAME DOOR PASSWORD, sheets were dirty and you had to pay extra per night if you wanted to use the air conditioner. And even after staying checking out, 4 days early from a week, they decided to charge us for the whole week nonetheless. Location wise right between the slums and the residentional area and at least a 1km from the nearest Restaurant . For those who came here to have a vacation and are considering this place, your best bet would be to splurge a little bit more for a decent hotel somewhere else than to go to this place. Don't recommend this place at all. Edit: to the owners answer on burning holes in sheets, DO know that none of us are smokers so that is a total lie.

The place was spotless and my room was very well furnished. Everything clean and new. |I shared the floor with a Spanish guest. That, together with using the coworking floor, made me feel part of a great community.|The place is very well located, near plenty of shops and lovely city parks. Taking the bus to explore the island is easy, but I was offered a great tour at the office on the ground floor, which I took with my flatmate. |The staff was attentive, answering my queries and making useful suggestions. |Will certainly return!!

Great experience. In the center of the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The "guagua" bus stop is 20 meters away, allowing you to tour the island. Extremely clean, with daily cleaning of the common areas. Quiet, bright, and all exterior rooms have four (yes, four) fast Wi-Fi connections from the room, each faster than the next, making it ideal for work. The entire building is keyless, with a personal code and app. Awesome. I'll be back.

Overall mediocre coliving experience. I stayed for two weeks and really did not get what i expected from a coliving space. Most guests are tourists and just stay for a weekend, and for days I have been the only person in the coworking space. The living units are on three floors, with 3 rooms each. You have no contact to the other floors, and there is no lounge or bar, although there is a roof terrace which was unused. I had a really hard time connecting with people, and there is no organized community building or social events like in other hostels or coliving spaces. In the end I connected well with several other digital nomads, but none of them from this coliving.

I stayed in total for 6 weeks at CoolivingC. For me it was a perfect place to stay in Las Palmas and still get some work done. Every room has a big desk and good wifi connection, the kitchen is very well equiped and everything is clean since common areas are cleaned daily. The staff is very friendly and replies to questions quickly. Sitycleta and bus stations are nearby so it's easy to reach every part of the city.

A thoroughly satisfactory experience during my stay here. Very bright rooms with Wi-Fi, perfect for teleworking. Not to mention the spacious upstairs terrace. Both the rooms and common areas were very clean. The staff, Carlos and Mailen, were very friendly and available at all times.

A great coliving & coworking experience close to the old city, the beach and all the facilities you need. The place puts a high emphasis on hygiene and safety and the staff is warm and welcoming. Also it has a fully equipped kitchen that allows you to cook about anything you like. Fast and reliable Wifi, I recommend it to anyone who works remotely like me, thank you for having me!

My overall experience was good. It's a bit far from Las Canteras beach, halfway between Las Canteras and the old town. The Wi-Fi generally worked well; when there were problems, they were quick to resolve them. I would have liked a better price, but it's a good place for teleworking.

CoolivingC is an incredible coliving. The building is amazing to spend time in, so much space, the best workspace and fantastic internet. When you want to leave the building Gran Canaria is a really beautiful island with incredible hikes, beaches and activities to do. I have been there twice already and i'm really looking forward to my next trip back. Thanks everyone who works in CoolivingC for everything, we will meet again :)

I was lucky enough to stay in an apartment that's very well located, close to practically everything: the city center, shops, pharmacies, and more. The apartment was spotless, meeting all the important requirements in terms of cleanliness, which was much appreciated given the current circumstances. I'm grateful to the person who handled my booking and contacted me; they were very kind and helpful. I hope to return soon, as it's definitely a place to consider.

I recommend it for a good rest and a variety of options to explore the island.

We stayed for a week at Cooliving C and were generally happy! After a difficult start with the room access code system, we got used to it and appreciated being in the city center for leisurely sightseeing. The reception at this accommodation is impeccably run by a charming young woman who was always ready to point us towards restaurants, buses, and car rentals! I hate to give bad reviews but the property website claims: "Get access to a modern coworking space with high-speed internet connection, common areas, and chill out on our top floor terrace. You will be able to rest, relax and also meet new people in our community’s weekly events." I spent a month there in November 2019 and there was no coworking, no common areas, no rooftop terrace, no community, no weekly events... Only excuses and promises from the owner. The website also promises free coffee, tea, and water. Never happened. That all caused me extra expenses on my trip, especially on coworking spaces, so I asked for a discount that I didn´t get either. So sad because the property is quite nice and Mailen the receptionist wanted to be helpful too. She tried to compensate the absence of the facilities by not charging me for using the washing machine. But if you claim something on your website that you don´t offer, that´s called a scam.
