nomaDESKape was a far better experience than I had even imagined – a brand new (and the first!) coliving in Tunisia. The host Islander felt more like a brother by the end, and was incredibly accommodating. They offered experiences like paddleboarding at sunset in Hammamet (definitely do it, the colours were unreal!), yoga, mountain biking and hiking, and Iskander introduced me to some fantastic people from the area who made the week I stayed unforgettable. I wasn’t very familiar with Tunisia before arriving so was unsure what to expect, but it massively exceeded my expectations. The location is beautiful: rural hillside views with basically wilderness in one direction, and a 20 min drive to bustling Hammamet the other way. I’m a big foodie, and Iskander was so excited to introduce me to loads of great Tunisian food cooked onsite or nearby, or in restaurants in town – he really is such a kind man! I know the business is new and I really hope it succeeds because it really deserves to. Not your average coliving – it’s more personal and unique. I’ll be back!
