Beautiful place. Absolute silence and darkness at night. I don't know if I've ever slept as well as I did during these few days here. You can't hear cars and see no lights. You can spend the evening by the fireplace. The owner Martin is a great and very helpful person with anything you might need. The houses have a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook most meals. Breakfast has a smaller selection but everyone eats. Everything is tidy and clean. WiFi works perfectly in the entire area. The houses are thought out down to the last detail, sockets in useful places, huge storage spaces for everything you could bring with you. Perfectly enough for two or three people. Huge shower, always hot water. Even though the houses are glazed everywhere, there are curtains and nets in the windows because of mosquitoes. There are many possibilities for trips in the area. Parking a few meters from the accommodation. Services are not overpriced. The shop is three minutes by car. For dog owners, there is a path for a beautiful walk right next door. The campervan camping has a beautiful area on the other side of the main building. Everything is modern and new, very tastefully decorated. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will definitely be back 💫

Perfect place for a company offsite, the hosts are the nicest people, there's tasty food, enough space to work together or rest in privacy and it's a great spot for mountain activities!

It was a truly wonderful stay – we received a warm welcome, were patiently shown around, and even our special requests were accommodated as much as possible. And all this despite the huge group we traveled with! Thank you so much for your hospitality, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

We spent 5 wonderful, peaceful nights here with our camper. A great starting point for mountain biking and hiking tours. An incredibly beautiful place, everything is so tasteful – and @Martin: thanks for the delicious drinks/Gösser beer 😌

One of the best campsites I’ve ever slept at. Martin the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, the facilities were clean and worked perfectly. Washing up room, washing machine, water, electricity. Super generous host :) The view of the mountains were absolutely incredible. The reception / cafe / coworking spaces were lovely and architecturally beautiful, as I’d expect the tiny homes are too. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

It was an absolute bullseye! 🏡 Tiny House with everything you need Our tiny home was modern, spotlessly clean, and furnished with great attention to detail. From the fully equipped kitchenette to the cozy seating area, everything was there. We were particularly impressed by the peaceful location with its magnificent mountain views – perfect for relaxing after an action-packed day. 🐾 Dog-friendly and close to nature A big plus: Our dog was warmly welcomed! The surrounding area offers numerous walking trails right outside the door, ideal for four-legged friends and nature lovers. 🤝 Warm welcome and excellent service The team on-site was exceptionally friendly and helpful. You can tell they work with heart. Tiny homes are truly cozy with a view of nature right from the bed. Delicious breakfast. Everything is quite modern and harmonious. Also specially equipped for workations. Highly recommended.

We spent a few days at the campsite and can highly recommend it. It's a very beautiful, stylish, and well-maintained site with attention to detail. Plus, it's in a great location on the edge of the national park. "Everything here is lovely, even the electrical boxes," my daughter remarked :) All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back.

I was absolutely thrilled! The Gesäuse region – often called the "Canada of Austria" – is simply breathtakingly beautiful. Our host and his team were incredibly welcoming, easygoing, competent, helpful, and flexible. Thanks to a tip from our host, I even got to experience an exclusive guided tour in the national park. A truly fantastic experience! The tiny house was warm, well-equipped, cozy, and perfect for relaxing and unwinding – and the view of the sky was simply spectacular. Especially convenient: there are charging points for electric cars, charging stations for e-bikes, a delicious breakfast, and many extras like a fire pit. I had a wonderful time and would love to come back!

A super nice host. Communication was perfect. It's a beautifully quiet place to focus on whatever you want, but also to unwind. The first night with two children (5 & 7) was a little difficult, as one child didn't want to sleep in the top bunk. While the bunk bed offers a beautiful view of the stars, it's a bit uncomfortable for an adult man, as it only has a thin mattress. The second night was great. Both children slept soundly in the bunk bed. Overall, the tiny houses are very nicely designed and you feel right at home. A mirror for shaving at the sink would be a great addition. Otherwise, everything has been made of the available space. The shower is pleasantly spacious. All essential cooking utensils are also provided. The main house is perfectly equipped for workshops or focused work on your own. The breakfast was delicious, and we were always asked if we needed anything. The value for money was excellent. The view from the entire campus is breathtaking! Thank you so much for your flexibility and hospitality!

Last weekend, I was a trainer at the Online Marketing Camp (OMC) at "The Campus Alps" and was absolutely thrilled. The tiny homes are modern and comfortably furnished, the food is excellent, and the on-site team is very friendly and helpful. The campus location is simply breathtaking—surrounded by nature, yet easily accessible by car or bus. I felt very comfortable during my stay and was able to fully concentrate on my work and the camp. I can highly recommend "The Campus Alps" to anyone looking for a place to work and relax at the same time. A big thank you to the host, Martin, and his dedicated team.

Wonderful place & great hosts

My boyfriend and I spent the weekend at The Campus Alps. The view and location are breathtaking, and the tiny houses are beautiful and equipped with everything you could need. Unfortunately, an incident occurred on Saturday evening that I feel compelled to mention, as it pretty much ruined our vacation. We had left the patio door slightly open on the side facing the bushes and the curtains otherwise drawn. Then the guest from the tiny house next door (we only found out his identity the following day) came along, stopped a meter away, and brazenly watched us lying in bed. My boyfriend loudly told him we were there and asked him to leave. He didn't budge an inch. When I closed the curtains, a gap opened up on the right, and he simply leaned over and looked in. After my boyfriend reprimanded him again, he finally left. We immediately informed the host, who was very understanding and kind. The next morning, however, we were informed that the neighbor himself had apparently come to the host's house and claimed he was "just checking to see if anyone was home." Why this was necessary, and in this manner, wasn't even questioned. It was simply accepted—even though it was clearly and unequivocally a terrible excuse—and when we tried to discuss it with the host again, he dismissed it with "It doesn't matter now." I don't want to sleep in a place where spying goes unpunished and is simply tolerated. I don't want to be where such people are welcome. I think that's something to be aware of before you go.

We stayed at Martin's campsite for four nights. The site is in perfect condition. The sanitary facilities are very clean at all times of day. Martin is a friendly campsite owner. The price/performance ratio is fantastic.

A place that offers everything, the hygiene facilities are top-notch. Everything is spotless. The owner takes excellent care of everyone who stays here. €41 all inclusive – we're happy to pay that. We wish him all the best and we'll be back.

What a brilliant work (or private) getaway! Tucked away in a little valley in the Gesäuse National Park, this place really can be a little home away from home. The peace and quiet, as well as the wonderful facilities, make a week working away from home easily possible and very enjoyable. I can happily recommend the Campus Alps to anyone (individual or private) who is looking for a little time away from home in a wonderful environment. If you want to work away from home, or are just looking for a little downtime, this is the place to do it.

A lovely campsite above Hieflau. On Google Maps, it looks like you're next to the town, but you're actually above it. It's somewhat hidden away and not aggressively signposted. You can also rent tiny houses here. The crowd is young and hip, and there's a cool central building where people can meet up. Breakfast is also available. Everything is very well-maintained, clean, and new. We received a fantastic, super-friendly welcome. We were the only campervan on the site; everyone else was staying in the tiny houses. It's an excellent place to work as a team and clear your head. Or you can write your dissertation without distractions, or simply enjoy a holiday in a wonderfully modern and creative atmosphere, like we did.
