I stayed at Kalart for around 1 month and had an absolutely amazing time! It was such a fun and upbeat group of people. We shared great conversations, music jams, dance sessions and beautiful hikes. The nature surrounding the house is stunning; lush natural forest and mountains in every direction, and the local village is really charming and lively. Thanks for everything!

I recommend coming here and leaving with a large group of people, like a family.❣️🌹❣️ The place is located in the Montseney Natural Park ⛰️, which makes it even more magical. Thousands of hikes, fruits, mushrooms (when it's the season), and adventures await.

I really enjoyed my 5 month stay at Kalart! After 6 months of travelling and working on the road, it was just the kind of place I was looking for to be able to settle for a while within a community close to nature. I felt looked after and respected by the hosts (Roger and Nohemi) who were very accommodating and kind. The weekly gatherings and activities with the fellow co-livers were alot of fun and sparked creativity and sometimes pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best ways! The community is made up of interesting and lovely people from all over the world who inspired me in many ways. The location of the is beautiful! Had a great time staying at Kalart. It’s a home away from a home that also has a co-working space and a hall for yoga and music classes. The co-livers are respectful, friendly diverse people. Each have their own room, and share common space (eg kitchen) and some chores. The location was quiet and close to the forest and mountain, and within walking distance of the San Esteve village, which surprisingly to me not only had a good variety of shops and restaurants (that open into the night), but also full of young people and families. In short I highly recommend Kalart if you want to work remotely or locally or live for a while away (and not too far) from the big city.

I spent two months at Kalart and it was an experience that I needed. From the first day, I felt like I was part of something special. I spent a little over two months at Kalart and Kaliu. It was a magical place where the colivers create an environment to feel safe and at home. With every person that arrives and leaves, the place is constantly moving dynamicly, it's like a beautiful painting that is being continued or added to. I found a second home that feels save to come back to, and a place that I found some parts of myself that I thought went missing. I am very greatful for every single precious memory.

I am truly grateful for the two months I spent at Kalart! They literally reset my nervous system and my outlook! From the first moment, I felt enfolded into more than a community—it felt like family. Coming to Kalart during a transition in my life and also a bit older than many people in coliving situations (56), I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had chosen Kalart for its openness, kindness, and creativity, and I’m so glad I did! I felt so welcome and alive amongst others of so many ages and backgrounds. Though we were in different times of our lives, we connected over the desire to follow our passions and create lives of purpose, beauty, and enjoyment. One of the aspects I loved about living in Kalart was the balance between time I spent alone in such beautiful spaces (my room and the surrounding countryside and nature) and time I spent interacting with others in such positive and creative ways. I learned so much about myself and how to be part of a larger community while also focusing on my own path. I also enjoyed the inspiring events that came through Kalart and were also available in the small village nearby, including a ceremony led by a Mexican shaman and a workshop (in Catalan!) about using our voices as medicine. I will never forget the playful and profound bonds I experienced with the Kalartians! I loved having people to eat with, explore with, dance salsa with, and contemplate our outer and inner worlds in mutually supportive ways. I look forward to returning and spending more time in this beautiful, heartfelt community. Thank you so much, Kalart, and most of all, Roger and Nohemi, for giving me the time and space I needed to heal and re-energize! The gifts from my time with you are still unfolding. I feel more confident and relaxed as I move into my next chapter.

There are no words that can describe how happy I was in Kalart, surrounded by such an amazing and creative people. I’ve stayed around 2 months and I’ve learned a lot about cooking, nature and Catalan traditions. The most important aspect for me is that I was able to deal with my procrastination and be motivated again. There are many in-house activities and also town events which make you feel like a part of a big community. Area of Montseny is also beautiful, full of hiking trails and lovely villages. I did two months volunteering at kalart. It was an incredible experience and I made some friends for life. It's situated in a beautiful area full of amazing trails for walking and cycling. The house is extremely well managed by Nohemí and Roger who do a great job of keeping the place organised, tending to everybody's needs, and creating a super comfortable and open atmosphere. Oh man, Kalart! ❤️ Words don’t do it justice but if I have to say something the tldr; is: We came to Kalart for a month in Sept 2022 and ended up staying six! It’s that good! The longer version is that it was one of those life changing for the better experiences for me! I feel like I’ve grown so much in so many ways starting from becoming confident to cook for 10+ people, to share my vulnerabilities, my highs and lows with people who I’ve met not long before but who very soon became my family, to allow my inner kid to come out and play, and sometimes to make mistakes but always with the assurance that no matter what I am in a safe space where every facet of my inner side can be safely brought to light, looked at, played with and explored so it ultimately gets integrated. If you want to experience the slow life in a community of kind, open hearted yet unique and authentic human beings, look no further. It’s location is perfect as well — just at the entrence of a national park, with hikes and nature walks literally at the back of the house, many events or workshops in the villages nearby, and of course that indescribable—you need to experience it for yourself—Catalan vibe :). And yet it’s just 1h train-ride to Barcelona. My heart will always stay open to Kalart and to everyone who has shared their time and life with me there, and I am very honored to have had the opportunity to call it my home for a short while! ❤️

Kalart is both inspiring and elevating as an introspective retreat, to root and grow internally. Grounded in well found rules/structures with honest and empathic communication, ensure the sanity and harmony within this vibrant social connection point. Good care is taken in selecting those to stay in Kalart; everyone I’ve met there has been nice, open minded and usually in a (creative) search/process. Those living in the house and those visiting short term blend well socially with lots of sharing (conversations, lunch, organizing activities, etc.). This results in great opportunities to learn and keep inspiring each other! Furthermore besides the activities organized within Kalart, there are surprisingly many things happening in the local towns, without the noise of city life. (Though in case of needing some city stuff, Barcelona is not far away.) One lesson from Kalart I take on to the future, is that taking care of having a clean space to live is a great start to give calmth, security and structure as a base from which to work on my own (projects)🙂.

I am used to stay in coliving concepts but it's the first time I experienced such a close, warm and welcoming community. Kalart is home. It is a healthy, well-kept and warm place to share time with enriching people who come from different contexts with the desire to build community and network. Nohemí and Roger have built this project from love and it can be felt in the assertive communication that characterizes the house and the good vibes!!

I remember that year and a half I lived with them as one of the best of my life. I wanted to live in a community, and I embraced it wholeheartedly, right in the middle of the pandemic and lockdown. I lived with wonderful people from various countries, improved my English, learned about different ways of living life, met many musicians, artists, and creative people... There was always a great atmosphere in the house, and we often had celebrations and parties. The food was spectacular. We had a vegetable garden that provided us with seasonal produce, and a rotating kitchen where everyone contributed their best, resulting in delicious and varied meals. It was right next to the forest, the Tordera River, and Montseny, with endless hiking trails, snow in winter, and beach getaways in summer. This is a very brief summary of what I loved most about Kalart.

Overall, I would say that my time living here has been profound and life-changing. I feel like I have transitioned towards the most creative and uplifting state thanks to the supportive environment provided by everyone there. Kalart is an amazing, inspiring place. I spent 2 weeks volunteering in Kalart and its been one of the most unique and enriching experiences in my life. The community of Kalart is full of passionate, interesting people with whom coliving and sharing moments is a pleasure. A perfect place for those whose mind is open and who like the idea of sharing :)

I spent one month in Kalart (november) and it was one of my highlights that year. The community is fantastic (I still keep friendships from that period), I learned a lot about communal living and all kinds of arts and sciencies. While living there, you are expected to behave like one whole member of the house, and this means a lot of sharing and bonding. At the same time, as a web developer I could keep doing my job on the coliving office, which is a nice and quiet place. The environment is really nice, with Montseny forests just near by, and the town also has an amazing vibe. Totally recommend it. Honestly kind of a life-changing experience.

The Kalart Coliving Community is a magic place in the Montseny Natural Park, near Barcelona. I was a volunteer there for 10 days in April 2022 and wished I could have stayed longer. Beautiful place, beautiful people, beautiful activities you can participate in. If you are searching for a good work-life integration, fun tribe and/or want to try the co-living experience surrounded by nourishing nature, yet close to the city - go there. Fast internet, fresh free bottomless coffee, silent coworking, chatty room area for networking, surrounded by nature to disconnect or just to run or bike before restarting again. Nice combination in one only place. National and international hosts, all well traveled, from artists to makers and entrepreneurs. Nice vibe overall.

Kalart it’s really a new concept for those who need to go beyond the coworking services and find business guidance. I have enjoyed with the mentoring sessions but also with other colivers and coworkers who are always supportive and open to give you feedback. Congrats for this special place.

I work at the kalart coworking, in the workshop room, which is quite spacious, about 20m2. It is isolated, so I can concentrate on creating my prototypes and 3D printing. They have offered me work tables and advice on the project, they call it mentoring. The people are nice, and if you want to disconnect you can go to the chill out area where there is always someone to chat and share points of view. The hammock they have is great!

I've been using the Kalart coworking space in the mornings. It's been very successful, both productively and networking-wise. The atmosphere is very international, both with the colivers and the volunteers. The atmosphere is great, and everyone is very respectful. The coworking space is well-equipped, quiet, and inspiring, with plants and even an essential oil vaporizer, which they say creates a study atmosphere.
