Some of you have followed me here for years. ↓
For six years I built Palma Coliving to connect entrepreneurs and digital nomads — opened 7 properties in prime locations, host thousands of people, built a 25,000+ community members, one of the most recognised boutique coliving brands in the Nomad world.
What I didn't say out loud during those years is that I built it with a nervous system that never switched off.
I thought that was the price. I built one of the things I'm most proud of — and a life I couldn't fully feel anymore.
It took me a long time to admit the two were connected.
Reset Retreat Mallorca is what came out of finally understanding it didn't have to be.
These aren't just wellness retreats. No yoga clichés, no spiritual scripts. The phone goes in a wooden box on day one. What comes back isn't relaxation — it's a nervous system that finally remembers how to switch off.
Two formats, depending on where you're at:
🌿 Survival Reset — 5 days off-grid in the Tramuntana. Canyon rappels, hidden sea caves, cliff jumps, real challenge. For the ones who need their body to remember it can do more than sit at a desk.
🌿 Digital Detox — 3 to 5 days at a slower pace. Nervous system work, real silence, deep nature immersion. For the ones already at the edge, who don't need adrenaline — they need permission to stop.
Both small curated groups.
Both built for founders, operators and high performers who've been performing wellness for years and still can't sleep through the night.
Same founder. Different chapter.
Note: This is a separate company and an Independent project from Palma Coliving.
The next cohorts are now open.
Next Retreat is Survival Reset Mallorca: July 13-17.
Application only.
@resetretreatmallorca
For years, Palma Coliving was about creating meaningful connection in Spain.
We shared homes, dinners, conversations, events, friendships, ideas and unforgettable moments with people from all over the world.
And through this journey, one thing became very clear:
many founders, nomads, creatives and remote workers were not only looking for a place to stay.
They were looking for space to breathe again.
To disconnect from the noise.
To reconnect with themselves.
To feel clear, grounded, alive and present.
This reflection inspired Matthieu, co-founder of Palma coliving, to create a new and fully independent project:
Reset Retreats Mallorca.
A separate experience designed to those who feel the need to disconnect, reset and reconnect with nature, clarity and themselves.
A deeper evolution to transform, an amazing digital detox, to create real human connection and unforgettable experiences.
These first experiences include:
🔥 Survival Reset — Founder Editions
A 5-day adventure retreat in Mallorca combining survival skills to reconnect yourself with a nature immersion, coastal exploration, breathwork, ice bath, challenge and mental clarity.
🌿 Digital Detox Retreat
3 to 5 days to slow down, disconnect from screens, reset the nervous system and return with clarity.
These first editions are for the people who want to be part of the beginning — the first group, the first stories, the first transformation moments.
The May edition is already fully booked.
Upcoming Survival Reset Founder Editions:
- June 8–12
- July 13–17
- September 14–18

I prepaid for a one-month stay with Palma Coliving in Mallorca. Before the stay began, the company emailed guests saying operations were paused due to restructuring and that refunds could take 1–3 months due to fundraising efforts.
After requesting a refund and receiving no response, I ultimately had to dispute the charges through my credit card company to recover my money.
More recently, I received another email stating Palma is currently not in a position to deliver future stays or issue refunds, while offering guests credit toward a separate personal retreat project unrelated to Palma Coliving.
I recovered my funds, but others should understand the risk and the company’s current situation before booking.
Just sharing my experience so others can make informed booking decisions.

I am very unhappy because I booked my stay at Palma in Barcelona. Now everyone got an email that bookings are ‚paused‘.
My stay was planned for in one month and I still did not even receive confirmation that I’ll get my money back.
This situation is really not acceptable.

**DO NOT STAY HERE/BEWARE**
I originally booked 3 weeks at Palma Coliving (Villa). I had to shorten my stay to the minimum 2 weeks, and they refunded me a useless voucher. The voucher has to be used within a year, it’s non-transferable, and I must stay a minimum of one month. Living in North America, this voucher is useless as I won’t be back in Spain. I emailed within the timeframe so I was eligible for a full refund, no where on there website does it state that you’ll receive a voucher instead of money back.
Furthermore, the villa doesn’t look anything like the photos. It’s extremely run down. There is no hot water, there are barely any lights in the entire house so it’s always dark. There is random junk laying everywhere, you feel like you’re living in college, but it’s lame. I showed up and the fridge had moldy food inside, I had to throw it out. Gross.
I’ve stayed in a lot of coliving spaces as I’ve been a digital nomad for 3 years, this is BY FAR the worst one ever.
The most laughable part - the founder of the company, Mathieu, actually texted me during my stay. He asked to meet up and talk about investments, which is hilarious given the house is a disaster & he already took money from the one week I had to give up. Who does that…
Anyway, definitely avoid and go elsewhere. I like sharing good reviews but my stay here really bothered me.

The facilities are amazing, very well kept and always clean. Natalia does a wonderful job keeping the whole villa shining. The location is also great, very well connected to the city centre and to Santa Catalina, an area with lots of bars and restaurants.
My room was on a different floor from the shared bathroom, which is something I would have appreciated knowing in advance. That said, I got used to it eventually and it wasn’t a problem in the end.
Overall, my experience has been very positive. At the same time, there are a few areas that I think could be improved, based on my past coliving experiences:
- I felt there could have been more effort from the management side to build a sense of community. The weekly agenda was mainly organized by the guests themselves, whereas I would usually expect more initiative from the host side, especially considering the price point.
- The website mentions yoga classes 2–3 times per week, but unfortunately that wasn’t offered during my stay. This is something I usually look for when choosing where to stay, so it was a bit disappointing.
- The pool and garden area have a lot of potential, but the mosquitoes made it hard to enjoy them most of the time. It’s such a beautiful part of the villa that I think it would be worth finding a way to address this.
- I was surprised nobody was there to check me in or give a quick tour of the villa when I arrived. While self check-in can be convenient for late or early arrivals, I arrived at 4pm on a weekday, so I had expected someone to be available.

It was my first Coliving Experience and I have to admit it was the best! It has set a high standard for the next places to come and this is why:
The people: first off, I had a chat with the co-founder Hugo and he already set a an amazing tone by being super cool, chill and friendly. Always willing to help and look for a way to support in making my stay amazing as possible. Next up with have, Aga-the happiness Manager-and oh boy did she do a great job! She’s a real hype person and brings positivity into the space quick! They also have community days where u plan activities with your housemates and neighbouring houses.
The location: it’s close to the hotspot (not central) but easy to get to the centre from there. TBH, u also don’t want to be constantly in the centre if you’re working a lot. But it’s perfect location to get to the Harbor (especially if u book boat rides), and there’s a supermarket 5min away and a bus stop that takes u directly to the nearest beaches. There’s also a couple gyms nearby, like Viding Aiguablava.
The Villa: I stayed in Armadans Villa, which had great WiFi, amenities and basically all the basic and more than basic stuff that u need like towels, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, board games, beach tools, books, kitchen utensils and okay coffee. Well equipped and layered out! The pool is a little small but great to get refreshed!
The Community: the people are all amazing and we had a blast in our villa almost everyday! I must admit, for first timers, the key is to be proactive and ask/invite. Don’t wait for people to come to you, be open to asking and inviting people to do stuff because everyone is down to do stuff but maybe don’t have time to plan or think ahead because of work. I found that the more I asked people that wanted to do activities together, the more people joined and were willing, making the experience even more magical.

Thank you for the wonderful time in the villa! I felt at home and welcomed from the first moment to the last “see you later” :) I’ll cherish the great people I have met and the experiences. The house is beautiful in a nice area and everything you need you will find. Aga and Natalia are there to support and talk to and make your day :) truly can recommend this experience, so keep building community and making it a place that feels at home.

We spent a few weeks at Palma Coliving in Villa Armadans and stayed in a beautiful room right by the pool. From the first day on, we felt completely at home. The atmosphere in the house is something really special – open minded people from all over the world, everyone supportive and curious to connect.
A big reason why we felt so welcomed was Aga, the happiness manager. She gave us a great intro when we arrived and was always there throughout our stay whenever we needed anything. She helped us settle in super quickly and organized great community dinners and activities. You can really tell she cares and puts a lot of love into what she does. She’s the soul of the house.
The owners also offer regular events during the week like workouts and group meals which made it super easy to get to know everyone. It’s a great place to be productive but also have fun and make new friends.
We already booked our next stay in a few weeks – this time at Villa Gomila. Can’t wait to be back.

I stayed at the Palma Coliving villa for the month of May and loved it so much I ended up extending my stay an extra month. The space is great, but what really made the experience was the community. I met people I now consider close friends, and it genuinely felt like home.
Aga, the Happiness Officer, played a huge role in that. She has a way of making everyone feel welcome and connected with shear authenticity. From day one, she helped create an environment that felt warm, easygoing, and safe.
If you’re looking for a place to stay in Palma where you can get work done, enjoy the island, and feel part of something — i highly recommend Palma Coliving.

Villa Armadans is one of the best colivings I’ve stayed in!! The house is lovely, very well maintained with good common spaces (including a patio and small pool). The rooms are nice and private with good soundproofing and AC. Aga, the happiness officer / house manager, is so attentive to everyone’s needs, very responsive, and overall a wonderful presence to make the house feel like home. Location is also great - about a 30min walk or 20min by bus to the heart of Palma Center, and there are plenty of restaurants, cafes, grocery stores etc. just a five minute walk from the house. I will be back soon!

Coming to Palma Coliving is the best decision I have made in a while. The villa itself is beautiful and exceeded my expectations. Wonderful flowers and plants outside! But what made it so memorable is the community. Very open minded, interesting, kind, people come here, and there are many social + enrichment events. I was amazed at how close we all became and how we continued to grow.
The house is walking distance to a great grocery store, bus stops, and many activities. I had one of the best months of my life here.
I loved that there is a built in advice/support network for when you are navigating logistics in a new country. Not to mention fun group activities like boat outings, cooking classes, personal development workshops, and more. Highly, highly, recommend!

HONEST REVIEW from someone who is not a paid influencer. I paid & stayed for the minimum two weeks and would actually give this property 3.5 stars, but am generously rounding up.
Pros:
1. Wonderful, quiet, and safe location that is walking distance to the supermarket, restaurants, and bus stops with plenty of free street parking.
2. Well equipped villa with filtered water dispenser, free coffee machine, washer/dryer, and various work/common spaces.
3. Organized activities (yoga) and WhatsApp group for meeting & socializing. Excellent guest relations coordinator, Aga.
4. For the most part, very friendly guests who are interested in doing things together and forming connections. I had a really good time meeting people and exploring the island together.
Cons:
1. The property feels a bit like a university frat house and desperately needs maintenance and upgrades. Ex. the bedroom locks use tricky skeleton keys and I was locked in or out of my room for 5-10 minutes several times. My room had a terrace which I never used because of sparce, dirty, and unattractive furnishing.
2. Even though a cleaning person came every other day, the main kitchen was dirty and attracted ants, flies, and even slugs. Food stored in the pantry had to be thrown out due to ant infestation.
3. The owner does not seem to have a guest satisfaction mindset and doesn't seem leverage feedback. For example, at the hosted Tapas Night which is supposed to be for the housemates to mingle, outside guests were invited by the owner and they ate most of the food first, leaving the housemates without enough to eat and drink. Another example, one bedroom and bathroom didn't have a proper lock and the guest had to threaten and pitch a fit before a proper lock was installed.
In summary, location and concept have a lot of promise and could become a 5 star experience if the owner invests in leveling up the property and taking guest feedback more to heart.

For my sanity, so I never have to think about these awful people again, I'm copying here my complaint to Mallorca's tourism authority.
"I stayed at this company's Gomila property June 2–Aug 30. My complaint has 4 parts:
Palma Coliving contracted with me in bad faith. The house was still under renovation when I arrived, and remained unfinished 12 weeks later. There was no A/C in my room for the first 25 days, or a closet until mid-July, or a bathroom door until August 16. The operators knew the work was incomplete and had no idea when the A/C would be installed, but never warned me of what to expect, and offered no reduced rate for the missing amenities listed on their website as standard. On booking I asked for a modest discount as a returning client staying 3 months, and was given 10% on that basis; but if hadn't asked, they were quite willing to charge me 100% for services I wouldn't get, without a word of warning. We were expected to roll with the punches 'because that's how it is in Spain' with construction labor. The lack of A/C for all of June was miserable. They refunded me €3.60 for each day I went without it, which I found unsatisfactory, since it had led to an infection and fever serious enough to visit the ER on June 10, and more than a day of lost working hours.
Their choice of flooring led to me slipping and falling twice, injured both times, the latter a broken toe on July 2 that's been disabling for months. Instead of real flooring with a non-slip surface, they unaccountably painted concrete floors with glossy latex house paint intended for walls, maybe because it was very cheap. The shiny surface became slippery with the smallest amount of moisture. I doubt Mallorca's building code allows for this in tourist accommodation. The broken bone left me with €500+ in expenses my insurance won't reimburse, mostly supports and supplies like orthopedic shoes and dozens of rolls of medical tape. Palma Coliving refused to refund these losses, insisting the modest value of a room upgrade for part of my stay covered both this outlay as well as the missing services. I disagree. I was unable to walk and effectively housebound in the property for the last two months of my stay. After a recent second x-ray I was told I can expect 6 months of pain. This was avoidable.
At one point Palma Coliving co-owner Matt Z. offered verbally to make a claim to the company's insurer for my unrefunded medical costs, which would've been the easiest way to conclude the matter. But he never did, instead turning rhetorical contortions to shift blame to the owner of the house (whom he refused to name, nor put me in touch with), then onto me. This suggests either the company is in bad financial standing with their insurer, or that the unsafe painted floors violated the policy and they couldn't make a claim without admitting as much. By the time I left no measures had been taken to protect other guests from the same risk of injury.
In an email August 30, excusing himself for letting me eat the cost of someone else's bad choices, Matt said, "As a nonprofit organization today, Palma Coliving is dedicated to building a supportive community rather than generating profit." It's not a nonprofit organization and shouldn't be allowed to misrepresent itself to avoid debt. I asked him to send me certification of nonprofit status, and of course he didn't. I find this a very troubling measure of Matt's relationship to reality, distorted risk assessment, and contempt that leads him to imagine clients would find it believable. This misrepresentation is surely illegal. If he doesn't understand the difference between a company not in profit and a nonprofit organization, he's the wrong person to make choices serving the safety of dozens of travelers at a time, many of whom seemed too young to feel comfortable speaking up about the service shortfalls. He also failed to provide their official complaint form when I asked, which also breaks the law."
These are bad actors operating in documented bad faith. Stay literally anywhere else.

Palma Coliving is in a great location, and the house is beautiful, but the management is disappointing. The founders claim to promote a co-living spirit, yet their actions show it's more of a money-driven business. Aga, the Happiness Officer, is the standout—she genuinely cares about the residents and does her best.
Unfortunately, the property is not well-maintained, and recent changes, like allowing non-residents to use the villa, have disrupted the community atmosphere. Concerns are often met with excuses, not solutions, which reflects their lack of focus on the co-living values they preach.

Hi everybody,
5 stars aren't enough for Palma Coliving. Really fantastic in every way - from the beautiful, luminous rooms; to the living rooms and other co-working spaces; to the huge kitchen and pool out on the deck for relaxing; not to mention of course, the convivial living atmosphere - I felt at home with the community from the first moment.
The staff quickly became friends and the location can't be beat - near to the centre but still providing an oasis of calm.
Among many shining points; regular 'tapas' nights, pub crawls, bbqs, and other networking events were a great way to meet and greet people, as well as the city itself.
All the perfect ingredients for a person to mix as they like, in short, I can't recommend Palma Coliving highly enough.
I'm jealous of anyone going to stay, but hopefully I'll book again soon myself!
All the very best,
Bradley

I stayed at this co-living villa for three weeks and was quite disappointed. The villa is in major disrepair and does not match the photos on Google Maps, which are likely from when it was much newer. There is a lot of unused furniture and broken items stored around the yard, and the fountain is not working.
I was supposed to get a room with a balcony and a private bathroom, but I ended up in a damp basement room with a shared bathroom. Other guests had similar experiences with discrepancies between what was promised and what they received. Despite paying for the highest room rate, I was given one of the lowest quality rooms, and the difference was not refunded.
While the community manager tried to foster a sense of community, it felt disorganized, and there was little interaction among guests (with the exception of weekend self-organized acitivities). This made my stay as a digital nomad lonely and isolated.
Overall, the villa is not as advertised, and the management is poor. Be cautious before booking, as you may not get what you paid for, and refunds are not provided.

My stay at Palma Coliving, while brief, was transformative. The house itself is lovely, in a super walkable location and with everything you need to live and work comfortably. But the real magic of Palma Coliving is in the people! The house is like a magnet for inspiring, fascinating, curious humans. I feel like every conversation I had, I walked away with a little more insight into how I want to show up in the world. And I can't say enough positive things about the Happiness Officer Agnieszka. Just the fact that Palma has someone employed as Happiness Officer says a lot about the experience they are cultivating. Aga was made for this role! She seems to take genuine delight in making sure that all of the colivers are thriving - from putting together beautiful tapas nights, to planning community activities (like yoga with Fabi, which was a highlight!), to just chatting about life in the hammock and checking in...she's a living angel! I had such an awesome experience staying at Palma Coliving! I met there absolutely amazing people. The location is great too. Maybe 10 minutes walk to the part of the city with all the cool cafes and restaurants, 5 minutes to the forest and 15 minutes to a very well equipped gym (Viding). It was a perfect base for road trips and hikes. The Palma Coliving stuff created a very good environment for people to bond, and tp get to know each other. There is also a coworking space, and lots of beautiful common areas.

I am just after a 4 month stay there this summer. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Met dozens of new people. Palma and Mallorca is a fantastic location. And there is always events going on with people in the villa, be it weekly digital nomad drinks in palma, tapas night in the villa (catered by palma coliving) or general touring the island at weekends. 5 stars. Donal.

I highly recommend Palma Coliving. I stayed for 5 weeks over summer. The house and apartments are wonderful with all the facilities you need. The air-con and internet were perfect! It is in a great location to be able to walk around and explore Palma and buses available to take you further. The happiness officer Ewa is super nice and organised some really fun activities for the group. The people I met there were amazing, so friendly and interesting. I will be coming back again!

As a digital nomad from Barcelona seeking a refreshing change, Palma Coliving surpassed all expectations! Just a short trip away, I immersed myself in the vibrant energy of Palma de Mallorca, with its breathtaking beaches and lively city ambiance. 🏖️🌇
From the moment I arrived, I felt embraced by genuine warmth and hospitality. Thanks to the incredible team, especially Natalia and the co-founders Matthieu and Hugo, I immediately felt at home. Their dedication and care created a welcoming environment that made my stay unforgettable.
The enchanting garden and terrace became the perfect spot for BBQs and poolside get-togethers with fellow nomads, fostering connections and unforgettable moments. 🌿🍔🏊♀️
Palma Coliving not only provided a cozy private ensuite room for relaxation but also organized digital nomad events and coworking days, fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration. It was a haven for creativity, comfort, and personal growth.
I can't thank the team enough for their exceptional efforts. I'd love to return to Palma Coliving to create more cherished memories in this idyllic oasis! 🌴❤️

This is more than just a coliving. You get to work, have dinner, go out for a few drinks, etc. on a regular basis with like minded people and in my 2 and a half months stay everything was great.
Both owners are amazing people and this doesn't seem to be just a business for them but they are involved into the people's experience and wellbeing.
I'd definitely go again if back in Palma.

Palma Coliving is for sure the best place in Palma if you are looking to connect with other digital nomads or like-minded people. Also Matt and Sarah/Léa were super-helpful and responsive to any request and improvement.

I recently spent some time at Palma coliving and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The villa was great and had all the amenities needed to live and work comfortably, but the real highlight was the community. Everyone was welcoming and the organization of community activities was outstanding compared to my previous coliving experiences. I highly recommend Palma coliving to anyone looking for a great place to work and socialize with like-minded people.

I stayed for 3 weeks in November and had a great time. Nice, spacious room with desk to work from and bathroom in the main house. I am older so I was pleased to see quite an age range staying at the house. All were interesting and talented. Great experience all round.

Palma co-living was just what I needed after 4 months of remote work between airbnbs and private rooms in a hostel.
The house is of a very high standard in an excellent neighborhood. It's well laid out with multiple work, living, kitchen a and social spaces. What was the best for me though was the attention to building community. The fabulous Sarah is the "happiness host" and ensured there were planned activities for us to connect and also ensuring we respected the co-living community guidelines. I met wonderful people, felt inspired and loved the Island. I'd recommend this to anyone.

The good stuff:
It's a very nice house, and I made a lot of wonderful connections with new people. Matt and Hugo are very quick to respond and always have good suggestions for things to do and local resources. The "happiness officer" always organizes nice group activities as well. Everyone is super friendly and chill. Location is very good for access to grocery stores, restaurants, the historical Palma, and everything else you might need within walking distance.
I love that they provide filtered water and things like laundry detergent. It's nice to not have to be wasteful and buy all of that stuff just to leave it behind and pile up plastic.
Things that could be better:
There needs to be more transparency about the location. The nearest beach is a 45-50 minute walk and it's a kind of dirty and gross city beach. The nearest nice beach is Cala Major, which is a 15 minute bus ride, or Ses Illetes which is a 30 minute bus ride.
The 10 minute walk mentioned in the description is a walk to a busy marina, not the beach. I found this very disappointing.
The house and apartment are quite expensive, and I find the quality of some amenities lacking. For example some of the patio furniture was old, worn out and moldy that it was un-usable. If it was updated, my experience of the place would have been a lot better.
All in all I would recommend this place.

The community at Palma Coliving is top tier. I met so many friends and had so much fun during my stay. The house is nice and the wifi works great in both the community area and in the rooms. The rooms are on the pricier side though, but personally I thought it was worth it in the end for the community and I would definitely go there again.

I had a really good experience for my first time in a coliving. It's definitely the perfect way to enjoy your (short/mid term) stay on the island as it allows you to meet cool people and share a lot of activities.
The good point for me is even if it's a coliving, you are still free to definite your own balance between work time, personal time and sharing time.
Room prices can be a little bit higher than a classic shared flat but it's a great value for money (quality of beds, equipments and general comfort) and the experience you will probably have at the villa is priceless.
Thank you for everything guys !

An incredible experience !
For my first time in a coliving, Palma Coliving has perfectly fit what I expected: meet amazing internationals people in a wonderful location with good infrastructures for work.
The organization (the hapiness officer + Matt) makes it easy to meet villa's people and to plan nice activities. There are many rooms to work depending on your needs, the tower is very quiet, perfect for a call, the coworking space is more animated, etc ...
The outdoor space is very nice, especially the table and the pool, also there are some beautiful fruit trees (orange/lemon/loquat).
We had two yoga sessions a week, tapas night, dance lessons offered by the villa, which is very nice.
I can only recommand this place, for a 1-3 months stay, it's perfect !
Oh.. and Mallorca ... it's amazing :D

Great place to start exploring your options as a remote worker. If you are still doubting to take this"big step", just book here in Coliving Palma, Mallorca. Not only the house and the people in it give you an amazing experience. The island itself and the city of Palma are in my opinion the best place to start your new lifestyle as a remote worker. No stress about the internet connection, no stress about feeling alone, always new ideas,...
Give it a try and it might be the start of a new journey for you.

I stayed for over one month in the palma coliving and overall it was an amazing experience due to the many great people I met there.
Matt and Sol, the happiness manager, do a lot to create a community vibe, like organising tapas nights for the house, community breakfasts, table tennis tournaments, meditation sessions etc. Another big plus is that there is generally a lot of space to work and hang out, free coffee and tea. The Wifi works well. Whenever there was a problem, Matt immediately took care of it and he is very active in the Palma digital nomad community so that you will be up to date on the haps in the city. I really appreciate his responsiveness and enthusiasm.
What I think could be improved, however, is the quality of the furniture and overall appliances. Especially the living room could use an upgrade to make it a bit more cozy and inviting to hang out. The rooms are rather small, especially considering the price of 50 euros per night.
But overall I value it a lot especially because it is a great base to explore the island and connect with the digital nomad community.

The Palma Coliving was an excellent first experience for me.
Here is a list of the different points I really liked :
- Nice coworking space, desks and proper chairs
- Good wifi
- Free tea & coffee
- Events organized all along the week to gather all the members (community meeting, dinners, sport activities, visits of the city, digital nomad meeting, workshop and more)
- Cleaning of the house twice a week
- An amazing happiness officer (Sol)
Here is one points to maybe improve :
- you’ll find fitness equipment in the house but don’t expect a proper « gym room » as shown on the photo of the website
Apart from this point, I would highly recommend the experience in the coliving. Matthieu does the best to satisfy the needs of everyone and makes your experience as dynamic and social as possible.
I will keep amazing memories from this month in Palma. Thanks Matt & Sol for the experience ☀️

I am living in Palma coliving since about 2 months and I had an amazing stay so far! The community is great with nice digital nomads & entrepreneurs and the villa is fantastic with a comfortable working area with ergonomic chairs + a couple of hot desks, a meeting room on the top of the house and private desk in the bedroom to make private calls. The cleaning is twice a week in commons areas and once a week in the bedroom to leave the house clean & tidy all time. There are two kitchens which allow us to have enough spaces for cooking with the community & a nice garden with a pool to enjoy the outdoor areas together! I really advice this place as a great place to stay for remote workers with plenty of events that we organise during our stay such as community session, meditation, cooking dinner, skill share & networking event 🙂

★★☆☆☆
After reading all of the previous reviews and the website, we booked a room here expecting a really good time.
I don’t normally write negative reviews online, but after this experience, I feel compelled to warn others of what to really expect.
Whilst the community itself was pretty good, For the rates Matt is charging, it was a massive disappointment for a number of reasons.
1. The cleanliness of the communal areas. There were cigarette butts, chewing gum and dusty furniture on arrival at the villa (see pic). No one in our apartment smoked so this clearly just hadn’t been cleaned. To make matters worse Matt asked for extra money to have our rooms cleaned! (Watch out for all the hidden extra costs - in the end we managed to dispute this after a lot of back and forth to get this included..)
2. Mis-representation of the villa - the pool is much smaller than it appears in the photos. There is no meeting room. There are just two open kitchen areas with other guests freely walking in and out, so you can’t take private calls in there. The other option is to take calls in the “meditation room” but this room has no air conditioning. One of the desks is actually a pool table. The website talks about how you can “Live and work in luxury” but in reality, its like “living and working in a student flat” a lot of guests complained about furniture being broken, not having a proper bed, cockroaches etc.
3. Being promised essential things on our initial call that were not delivered. Several times we requested a desk in our room for working but this was not provided.
4. Unfair working practices - I felt uncomfortable when I arrived being introduced to the happiness officer, who was actually an unpaid volunteer. Matt would shy away from resolving problems and pass these on to the happiness officer who in turn was significantly over worked. It felt like the happiness officer was being taken advantage of, working 6 days a week, with not much care for his welfare.
I have to say the happiness officer bought a great sense of community to the house and we met some great, kind people during our stay.
And If we were paying budget rates some of the above points would be ok, but at over Eur 1500 + VAT per month, the whole thing was terrible value for money.
Dealing with Matt was not a great experience, he just didn’t open his eyes and ears to some of the basic issues at hand. Despite trying to resolve some of the issues, Matt failed to make any sort of sincere apology.

I had a great month in Palma. Matthieu has done a great job at finding a place and creating a community. I would do it again, and I’m already eyeing their other locations for next summer.

I had an amazing time at Palma coliving. I was there in March-April 2021, I met great people, had fun and learnt that you can have the best experience in the most gloomy times. Great place to work and live, the house is really nice, spacious, with many indoor and outdoor spaces to chill out or work. The location is great. There are many events and a sense of community, a lots of activities are planned that you can choose to be part of. The kitchen a bit small for that many people, not enough space to store food in fridges and to cook. The dishwasher did not work properly but it was repaired after I left. But I guess that was the only frustrating part for me. Everything else was great.

The new place in Palma is amazing. I won't tell you about the weather, it's just a dream!
At walking distance through the sea promenade you can access the main attractions. There is a supermarket 5minutes walk, the Castle with a huge park to walk, exercise, meditate... You want to do something, name it, everything is possible here!
The spacious 4-storey house has been newly refurbished to luxurious and high standards in a very safe residential area close to the marina.
Matthieu is a great host that will make you feel at ease and at home. It's also fantastic to live as part of a community that are like-minded and boost each other on a daily basis.
There are two options, you can live in that awesome mansion as a co-liver or just enjoy the co-working space and communal area during the working hours. I can only recommend you to treat yourself with this inspiring and boosting experience for one month or more!
