bedndesk - Coliving & Coworking in Mallorca

As mentioned in some other comments, some of their reviews are quite surely fake, and the pictures on the website do not show the place how it really is since they have been edited, probably with AI. After my arrival, when I mentioned this in a respectful way to the manager of the place, Steven, he made comments like 'it's marketing, it's like McDonald's' and I found him to be rude in the way he talked to me. All of that made me feel uncomfortable there, so I left after just one night. If they would rent these rooms for 400€ a month it would be a different story but promoting them as 'premium' and asking for 1000€+ per month felt pretty much like a scam. They agreed to refund me part of my booking but still kept 300€ for my one night stay. Since they made me understand that the problem was coming from me having too high expectations, I will leave some photos of the place so that everybody can judge for themselves.

Our stay at Bedndesk was really awesome! The area is full of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The sea is very close and we enjoyed many breathtaking sunsets from a nice beach nearby. Steve is a great host, always friendly and helpful. The coworking space is not very big, but quiet. There is also a private meeting room. The decorations and pictures on the wall are very nice and make the place even cosier.

The Bedndesk offers a very good opportunity for people to work an enjoy the beach and party lifestyle in S'Arenal. The house is just a few hundred meters away from the beach and in walking distance from bars and restaurant. I really liked the little office space, desk screens and further equipment was provided and offered a good setup to work efficiently. The house was full during my stay, which was great to connect and get to know people. We cooked, drank and talked together, altogether a memorable experience. Some thinks that could be considered a bit of a downside and therefore only 4/5 stars: - The house is poorly soundproofed, I was woken up almost ervery night by cars, people, dogs etc. - The balcony was unfortunately a bit dirty, which prevented me from using it - The equipment in the kitchen was a bit old e.g. knives, pots, pans and cutting boards. The sink was also broken throughout the stay

This place has a perfect location to enjoy different worlds of Mallorca. Very close to the beach and the nice restaurants and bars for tourist, but also walking distance to more local and autentic places. Go right and you can enjoy kilometers of beach, go left and you'll soon be in a more calm and relaxed area. There is supermarkeds and gyms close. As usually is in these kinds of houses, the walls are thin, so bring earplugs.

I stayed here for two weeks. Next time it will definitely be longer. I met some lovely people. Great location, right on the beach, everything within walking distance. The house is charmingly furnished, clean, and the hosts are available day and night to help with anything you need. Everything you could possibly need is there. The coworking space offers everything you need to work here, just like in a home office. It's worth noting that the area is quite lively, so you should be prepared for some noise at night.

My second home, very fair prices, cool people and right by the sea. I highly recommend it.

After reading recent negative reviews I contacted the owner before booking to make sure there was definitely a community manager living at the house, and asked how busy it would be during my two week stay. I was told there was only one room available and that the community manager was living at the house. What they actually meant was that for one night of my stay there was only one room available, after day 3 of my stay all other guests left and no one else came. I rarely saw the community manager who was working full time elsewhere for a large part of my stay - and anyway there was no community to manage. Bookings out of season can be low, but I specifically asked the owner these questions to avoid the situation I found myself in - living and working alone all day - the exact opposite of a coliving experience. The owner told other guests that more people were coming during my stay, despite this not being true, I have still not had an adequate explanation why he told myself and others this.

I visited Bedndesk for about a week this past August and I would give them 100 stars if I could! They have a a fabulous set up less than one block to the beach in S'Arenal. Booking was a breeze. I quickly received a response from Adrienne and she was more than accommodating in helping me choose which room was best for me. The hostel was never too hectic and all of the guests were incredibly nice! The rooms and beds are comfortable, and there's plenty of desks with monitors, hi speed wifi, etc to work during the day while having easy access to all Mallorca has to offer. Sean, the house manager, was so nice and helpful and he took us around the island showing us all of the cool spots. I can't thank Adrienne, Juanse, and Sean enough for ensuring such a pleasant stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Bedndesk and plan to return as soon as I can!

My first coliving experience was an exceptional one because of BedNDesk, and for that, I want to thank the owners for creating such a beautiful home. A huge thank you also goes to the house manager Sean, whom I will now call a friend 😊. Thanks for the warm welcome, Sean, and for making us all feel at home. I enjoyed the beautiful sunset walks to the beach close by, and the sushi night with everyone in the house. Also thoroughly enjoyed the market and cala hopping day, as well as that beautiful hike in Deia. BedNDesk has truly put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming and beautiful coliving home. Every detail in the home from the cozy living room, reading nook, the porch, and beyond was well thought out. If you ever find yourself in Mallorca, book this space fast. Or better yet, choose Mallorca as your next destination and stay at BedNDesk.

Had a great 7 days at the house, and the hosts are very attentive and welcoming. The price is very reasonable and the location is awesome because it's 5 minutes away from the beach. The house has all the amenities needed, but it could use some renovation. The area itself is quite loud unfortunately, maybe it also depends on which room you are in, so keep that in mind if you're a light sleeper. 40ish minutes away by bus from Palma, the best thing would be a car rental as there are many beautiful places around the island. All in all, I hope to come back soon! Thank you for everything! :)

I stayed at Bedndesk for 6 days and all I can say is it was such a wonderful journey, the whole experience was amazing beyond words. It is the perfect match between work, fun and relax, where I got the chance both to get work done and meet great people with whom to share ideas, big laughs, deep conversations, long walks around S'Arenal and breaks at the beach, which is just around the corner. A place that really feels like home, comfortable and friendly. It has everything you need. Looking forward to coming back soon and hopefully to stay longer next time!

I stayed at Bedndesk for 3 days, and it's such an amazing place. It has everything you need to work remotely, the location is perfect for taking lunch breaks at the beach, and the hosts are lovely people who offer great recommendations for all kinds of after-work activities :)

Amazing accommodation for digital nomads! Really only 2 minutes from the door of the "bedndesk" to the beach! 🏖️ And you can enjoy white sand beach, deep blue aquamarine water and incredible sunsets. Oscar is especially kind and attentive host. ❤️ He made a unique home atmosphere in the co-living. So everybody who live there in that time support it easily. There are a lot of magnificent photosession locations 📸 (see attached photos) and interesting places on the island that you could visit if you rent a bike/car 🏎️ or you have a friend to go with by the car. 😉 The co-working area in the house is very big and cosy. There are additional monitors 🖥️ that you could connect to your laptop 💻 and it will be very comfortable to work. Also there are a desk in every room, if you need some privacy during your job tasks. I could highly recommend this wonderful place 💜 to work and live for a long period of time. 2 weeks are definitely not enough. Even after a month here ⏳ you don't want to leave this awesome place! So book it for as long as you can 👆

I stayed in BnD in April 2022. I really enjoyed my stay and met great people in the house. The co-working space had big spacious desks and the rooms also had desks when privacy was needed for important calls. Oscar was a really friendly and helpful host. If you like hiking in the sun I couldn't recommend Mallorca enough.

The owner Oscar is an amazing human being and he managed to create a small cosy coliving space where it’s actually possible to really connect with your coworkers. If you want to escape the dark winter weather and spend some time working remotely on the sunnier side of life then Bedndesk is the perfect place for that!

Excellent location, Oscar was a very good host, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return someday.

I really enjoyed my stay at Bedndesk and would return anytime. The coworking space is really comfortable (reliable Internet, comfortable chairs, a good monitor, cool temperature and an aircon for hotter days), the proximity to the beach (actually numerous beaches) is unbeatable and Oscar is the best host one can imagine. The proximity of bus stops and car rental makes it super easy to go to Palma and to travel around the island. The area is not the quietest and I would recommend bringing earplugs to those who have light sleep.

I have spent 1 month in BnD and it was amazing month. I have met lot of interesting people there and never felt alone in the house. The place is comfortable and friendly. There is a high quality internet in the co-working room and also in the bedrooms. I can recommand it. If you are thinking about it, try it!

I totally recommend staying at bedndesk. Oscar has been an amazing host and did/tried everything to make us feel comfortable and home at his place. Furthermore the people whom I got to know there were really great and we felt like a community/family quite soon. Thanks for the great experience. The only disadvantage was old lady who lived in the upper floor and was sometimes noisy during morning hours.

I went there just to work for few hours before the flight, but next time I'll stay there instead of a hostel. Perfect for freelancers, who go on vacation but still have to work or just for people who want to work remotely from some warm place like Mallorca. Everybody is very friendly and polite 🐱

I’ve spent the best summer of my life at Bendesk. I stayed for two months (July and August) when Mallorca is absolute paradise... but also high season! If it hadn’t been for the more than reasonable rates at bendesk I could never had afforded to spend two whole months on the island. The stay there was fantastic; the house has everything one needs and more. The kitchen is well equipped, the shower works beautifully, and the living room, two terraces and dining room are perfect to have a chat, socialise, or read a book peacefully. It’s literally two minutes away from the fantastic beach of Arenal, which can get a bit crowded at peak times but still has Caribbean blue waters, beautiful white sand and palm trees. What about work? If everyone is on holiday around you isn’t it a bit hard to focus? Not at all! The coworking space is truly an oasis; the internet works better even than in my permanent office, and Matias always makes sure the connection is great and everything is working fine (including the nespresso machine ;) ). The work stations are perfectly well equipped and comfortable, and one can always go upstairs to the conference room/area to have a business call as well as to the sofas to chill for a bit. Whether you’re staying at the coliving space or not, you’ve all the facilities around: supermarkets, pharmacies, and of course a huge variety of bars and restaurants. The best part was the host: Matías went out of his way to make sure the WiFi worked great and everything was okay in the office and the house, so we were always comfortable and happy to ask for anything we needed. But he also organised bbqs where we got to know each other at the coliving, and events where we would go paddle surfing with other people of the island, exploring the amazing Mallorcan waters and caves, and did lots of networking! All in all, do I recommend bendesk for a great digital nomad experience? HELL YEAH! 😃 Thanks for everything Mati!!!

This is an awesome place. I came to BednDesk to finally get some some administrative tasks done that I kept postponing at home. While staying at BednDesk I got the perfect environment to finish them up while having loads of fun with the other people staying there. The Coworking Space is just below the living space. The beach as well as some awesome restaurants are just around the corner. It's just the right amount of fun without getting too distracted from whatever you wanted to do in the first place. I loved the experience. Will definitely come back.

I stayed here co-living & co-working for all of June 2018 and it was perfect. I'm co-loving it ;D It was actually so good that I'm already planning to go there again! The other coworkers were friendly and we did some fun events together like Stand Up Paddling and a BBQ. We went for lunch together almost every day. Really great atmosphere! The coworking space is in an ideal location. Short distance to the beach. Party if you go to the beach on the right, quiet if you go to the beach on the left. Palma and the airport are reachable by bus - but I rented a scooter because it's more fun that way! The co-living space is right next door to the coworking space. It is clean (a cleaning lady comes 2-3 times a week), has a kitchen, a living room and a pretty chill rooftop. I slept under the stars on the couch on the rooftop one night :P The host, Matias, is super nice and really ensures everyone has a great time. I mentioned a bad reception of the WiFi signal and he came with a new router the next day. Exceptional! Matias also had great recommendations of local events. I've been traveling for over two years and this was one of the top coliving spaces I've stayed in! Stop reading reviews and just go already :P

There are too many amazing things to say about Bedndesk in Mallorca!!! After spending all of June co-living / co-working there, I'll share what I believe is most useful to people seeking a place to live and work nomadically. 1) Matias is a generous, welcoming, and super fun host! He and the other local coworkers – Paula and Manuel – made Bnd a special experience. I cannot speak highly enough about the community they have created. 2) The co-living space is clean, spacious, and well thought out. From the keyboard commands used to mark rooms and food bins to the clever 3D-printed cleats used as toilet paper holders, everything about the space is pretty darn cool. 3) Bedndesk is in Arenal. If you don’t know what that is (i.e., you’re not German), be prepared for a hell of a cultural experience and unique party scene. Buy some cheap earplugs, and you’ll be fine. Just remember, you can bike, walk, bus, or drive a few short minutes to reach nature (see photo). I biked and rock climbed 3+ days a week during my stay and LOVED the fact that I could order kebab and brats at midnight in Arenal after a big day on the walls. I can keep going and going. If you’re considering a stay at Bedndesk, just do it!!! Ask Matias for my info if you'd like to speak / email.
