As someone who frequently lives in coliving spaces, Novovento is the perfect balance between having a vibrant community and enjoying personal space. The house itself is beautiful and truly feels like home, thanks to all the amazing efforts of Emily, the owner. The garden and the view are simply stunning. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a pause and a place to gain perspective on their lives.

I had a wonderful time at Novovento Coliving on Sao Miguel island. Emily, the host, was super welcoming and made my stay great. The house is really nice - it's simple but very cozy - and surrounded by nature, which I loved. It's so peaceful there. Very good internet too. They've got everything you'd want in the house, so you don't have to worry about anything. Just a heads up, having a car would be helpful because the buses aren't very frequent. The coliving is a bit far from most things, but don't miss the chance to hike to Sete Cidades from there. It's amazing! I totally recommend Novovento Coliving. It's a great place to experience Sao Miguel. Thanks to Emily, the community & the lovely environment, it was a fantastic stay.

Good family vibe at the place and Emilie is a great host. Got by fine without a car, but it's honestly quite limiting to not have one. Altogether great place to spend a couple weeks to a month. Coworking space is nice, and the wifi is great in the garden so outside is 100% viable. Can also do a nice and easy hike up to Sete Cidades straight from the coliving ;)

Un super coliving, assez intime. Émilie est généreuse et s'occupe vraiment bien de ses 'guests'. L'île offre pleins d'options pour les aventuriers: surf, randos sur les sentiers PR, 'whale watching', baignade dans des sources chaudes, un magnifique jardin botanique. Il faut louer une voiture pour en profiter pleinement. Impression que le temps s’arrête. Parfait pour décompresser.

I spent the month of July 2022 in Novovento. It's an amazing place to cowork and colive for a while. The coworking space has beautiful views over the ocean, and the rooms are very cozy. The best of the stay was to meet Emily (the best host), Benji (her lovely dog) and all the other colivers. The atmosphere at Novovento is amazing and we used to organize BBQs, hikes or other plans together. Azores is a wonder and the climate is the best you can get if you want to escape from the heat in the hot summer months. Solid 20-25 degrees day and night. The house is just a 45min walk to the top of the Sete Cidades volcano, one of the many amazing sights that the island has to offer. Definitely recommended.

Absolutely loved the place! Unfortunately I was only able to stay for a couple nights but I would have loved to stay longer. Internet worked perfectly and even had a screen I could plug my laptop to. Very friendly athmosphere where you feel you are working and living with friends including the owner who is super kind and fun to hang around with. 100% recommended!

I stayed here a few years ago. Was just reminiscing and realized I never left a review. This place was incredible. Very relaxing and I made great friends with the other people staying there. I could literally feel my blood pressure decrease over the 10 days I was there. Can recommend if you need a place to unwind.

Novovento is not to be missed. As a digital nomad, you can’t possibly ask for a more serene or idyllic place to do your work: Emilie has crafted a beautiful coworking space with ocean views & plenty of natural light. The kitchen, bathrooms, and dormitories are stocked with everything you might need and are kept immaculately clean. One hour up, you are at the rim of an ancient volcanic crater; one hour down, you are at a natural seaside hot spring. And it should not go unsaid that Emilie is an exceptionally cool & welcoming hostess ;) Thank you for everything — till next time <3

I stayed in tens of coliving spaces around the world, and this is easily one of my favorite ones. I spend one month there and absolutely loved it! The space is a charming typical Azorean stone house that was recently renovated, and the coworking area is a really bright space with massive windows overlooking the ocean. Besides having a beautiful garden with lots of plants and palm trees and the barbecue spot overlooking the ocean, it's also really close to the ocean and just a 40 minute hike from the crater rim of Sete Cidades. Most of all, Emilie is such a gem! She's an extremely hospitable host that truly cares about her guests and makes an effort to connect with every single one of them. She also organized a lot of barbecue nights, dinners and hikes, and is just a joy to spend time with. My only advice is to book at least a few weeks (or more) so you fully take in the place and the experience it offers.

Emilie is the BEST host! She’s kind, fun, social and she build a lovely stay where people from all over the world come together and share their travel adventures. My tip is stay 3 days, have some diner with the rest of the crew, explore the aérea withou rushing through só you can experience the truth calmness from that side of the island. It’s all worth it. There are several quiet indoor and outdoor spaces to eat, relax, read or work online,and the property is just a short drive to a hot thermal bath that opens into the ocean - a special place to experience at high tide. Este alojamiento de Airbnb es una casa para compartir con otros viajeros. Emilie y Karl, sus propietarios, te atenderán y resolverán todas tus dudas sobre la isla, són fantásticos! La casa está compuesta por un salón y cocina, una sala para trabajar, con buena conexión a Internet, y dos habitaciones. El jardín es precioso, con vistas al océano, con tumbonas, mesa exterior y barbacoa. He estado muy bien y lo recomendaría a cualquiera!

Arrived to see a beautiful sunset from halfway up a volcano. Greeted by charming hosts Emilie and Karl and a barbecue with fish from the local fisherman that passes twice a week with his catch of the day. Meat trucks and fruit and veg trucks pass weekly as well. Great way to get delicious local produce. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, facilities were all there. Great feeling of community with other guests. In fact we spent the rest of our holiday touring the island with people from novovento. Cannot recommend enough. My only regret is not spending my entire holiday here. Thanks so much Emilie and Karl for a wonderful stay. Accomodation done the way it should be!!!!
