Debed Life Workation & Retreat

We had a wonderful time at Debed Life Hotel. The hotel is cozy, stylish, and perfect for a relaxing escape. Dinner at Perle Restaurant was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Definitely a place I’d love to visit again!

We took a short break to relax and explore the surrounding area. The scenery is magnificent, and the small village of Debet is typical with its many farms. The guesthouse is clean and the service is excellent. The rooms are spacious with a lovely, fully equipped bathroom. Don't hesitate to ask Tatevik, the owner, for advice on activities, walks, or places to visit. Breakfast is excellent and very generous.

A perfect place to relax in the heart of the Lori mountains. The house is beautiful, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The views of the valley and surrounding nature are stunning. The welcome was warm and the atmosphere very peaceful. We also thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant, the tranquility of the village of Debed, and the magnificent horseback ride in the mountains—a truly memorable experience. An excellent place to relax, work remotely, or explore the region.

We stayed at this guesthouse with our family at the beginning of April and travelled there by car from Yerevan. The drive was fine, but it is worth paying attention to the road, as there are quite a few potholes and also some speed cameras along the way. When we arrived, we received a very warm welcome with sweets, tea and coffee. We were also greeted by a very friendly husky, which our children absolutely loved. During our entire three-day stay, the children were always happy to spend time with this lovely dog. The accommodation was absolutely clean, and the rooms were beautiful. Both the guesthouse and the restaurant are really something special. Everything is designed with great care, taste and attention to detail. Just have a look at the photos on the website — the place is truly as charming as it looks. Another highlight was the excellent food. We ate at the restaurant several times and enjoyed it every time. The hostess and her mother are very warm-hearted people and took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. The location is a little remote, but that was exactly what we were looking for. We found real peace and relaxation there. The surrounding landscape is beautiful, and there are also some nice places to visit nearby, for example a ranch with horses, donkeys and other animals, where you can also eat. We will definitely come back. The stay did us a lot of good, and we can warmly recommend this guesthouse.

We stayed at Debed.Life for two nights and were thrilled. A modern, stylish guesthouse nestled in the beautiful natural surroundings of Lori, where you discover a different side of Armenia. The mountains and tranquility of the area are simply breathtaking. We were particularly impressed by the homemade organic food – the specialties are truly unique, creative, and incredibly delicious. I was there last summer, and I can say for sure, you won't find a better place to relax and work. There's a work area on the third floor, and it offers incredibly beautiful views of the village of Debed. The service is 10/10, and the friendly staff makes the experience even more enjoyable. I should also mention that the owner had a sweet dog named Richie, so allergy sufferers should be careful. The rooms are very clean and have a cozy atmosphere. I'm 100% sure I'll be back next summer.

It's really good place!

I'm absolutely delighted with this place. You're surrounded by mountains, hearing the sound of the river and breathing in the fresh air. And yet, you're surrounded by a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere, where every detail hits home. I want to come back again.

I arrived to this place after a long time of none stop travel. What first touched me besides the beauty of the place, was the warmth of the hosts. Tatev & Tikin Gayene are incredibly caring and welcoming. I arrived to Debed Life with an impossible creative block with which i was struggling for a while. But the place brought me so much peace that i ended up painting & writing again. I am so thankful for the hosts & this place for giving me a much needed long moment of peace. I do recommend this place for everyone looking to escape the mess of daily life and the big city, especially artists & writers, you will fall in love with it!

One of the best places to go in Armenia

A wonderful place, highly recommend visiting for anyone who wants to immerse themselves in tranquility amidst the Lori mountains.

A fantastic and quiet hotel in surroundings that cannot be described. Here a place of tranquility and an ideal place to get away from the noise of everyday life.

We had a superrelaxing coffee break in the Debed Life Café. Fresh fruits, fine coffee and super delicious bread & cake specialities and above all the most adorable team. If you are in the area make sure to visit!

Loveliest place to stay and catch a breath, listen to the village life sounds, take morning hikes, enjoy the views, tasty food and comfy beds. We were on vacation, so didn't try out the co-working facilities but they seem to be nice and comfortable. Would definitely consider coming here for a workation next time. Everything was so well-thought-through and we were taken care of like I would take care of my own friends at my place. This place is ideal for people who work remotely. WiFi is fast and reliable, and the co-working space is comfortable with a great view of the village. The host is accommodating and delicious food can be provided so you don't need much. Overall a one of a kind place, exceeded all my expectations.

Come to the middle of nowhere and have one of the best experiences of your life. It’s a place where you can hike for days or do absolutely nothing. The soundtrack you hear is a river and birds and the scenery is lush and could be from a Jurassic Park set or a Lord of the Rings movie. Easy to get to via a car from Yerevan and you really don’t need much. Would recommend some nice hiking shoes if you want to explore.
