There are a lot almost daily events for digital nomands to connect with other people.
The downside is that the internet works only 95% of the time and if you use a VPN it seems to disconnect fairly often. (I've tried various OpenVPN and wireguard connections, still disconnects )

God, this place is ridiculous. Yes, internet works well, so as every coworking places around Canggu! But still, if you want to experience it, go ahead. And get ripped off.
First, pricey for a day pass. 150000 IDR for 12 hours of access. Second, pricey for a standard Iced coffee latte. 50000 IDR. Third, after all those payment I made, when I asked for some pieces of tube Ice, I was told to pay for more! Really...the only cafe around that would charge you extra for some tube ice. haha.
When you come here, make sure to allot some time in signing up, create an account at their whatever website for some standard wifi which you will only use for a very limited time.

It's a community of great people. And the best part of being a Dojo member is being able to enjoy all of the events that are taking place here. I have been to 4 coworking spaces around Canggu and I finally (and luckily) found Dojo! The hosts (staffs) are absolutely friendly, knowledgable, and super nice all around. Haren is a gem! He knows all the places to go for food based on your budget and is an absolute "Canggu walking encyclopedia" all around. My favorite room is the meeting room downstairs, a great place to work, very comfortable seats and the aircon is super nice especially when it's hot outside. It's an amazing place for networking as well. I'm so happy to be a part of the Dojo Community. Keep up the amazing work, you guys!

Started off my journey working remotely in canggu, Bali and I’m so thankful to have joined dojo the day I got here. I eventually moved onto using other spaces as well, but dojo is ideal for when you are new. It is easy to meet people and you have to realize that everyone is on their own and looking to meet people. Just start by going to all the events and activities offered and be open to getting to know people from all over the world. I recommend starting out by getting the 30 or 50 hour plan to test out the space and make sure it’s a good fit for you. It does get very busy during the peak summer months, but right now it is a lot quieter. I spent 2/3 months working from dojo almost daily, so feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions about the space or events! :)

This place is ideal for socializing and networking but it is extremely noisy every day, making it very difficult to get work done. Whenever the bar next door is not playing live music, the place organizes very loud and long events with microphones and one cannot escape from the noise not even in the Skype-booths.
I am happy with the place organizing events, but they should definitely consider getting sound-proof infrastructure and host loud events outside until then.
On top of that, Internet is not so good and it goes off always at midnight, which can be a trouble while making a call.

- If you stay somewhere east to this place, you’ll either have to go long way or stay in the everlasting traffic of shortcut.

But... I have to be honest here. I came here for a few years, and somehow they fail to update to (ergonomic) chairs, they still use old chairs, which are ripped and full of mold, like some 11month old reviews wrote before.
They dont allow you to bring people (eg: your clients) and you're pretty much forced to use their cafe (can't bring your own food, or order go-jek).
However, it's a nice place for a canggu newbie to get to know people.

Dojo is a nice place to work from, but it is not my first nor my second choice of a coworking space.
It is overcrowded and I find many of the chairs to be very uncomfortable. That can definitely be changed.
Another downside for me is that they don’t have slippers to enter the bathroom and you have to enter with your bare feet, not pleasant for me.
Some of the spaces need a refresh and are a little trashed from my perspective.
But what is good about it is the community and the activities that they organize. And it is stylish and has some nice touches as well.

This place is a rip off. It is just a regular bali cafè place like there are so many put there. Just pick one randomly and you will experience the same thing as stay at Dojo. They say it is a coworking, but it is far from being a coworking. It is just an expensive fancy cafè place with uncomfortable chairs, no aircon, swimming pool, too overcrowded. There is no space to seat. They do not have office desks and chairs!!! They do not have wired connection, external monitors. I came there to work all day and i left after 1 hour.
This place would be nice if it was just a cafè with working area, but they advertise themselves as coworking. Just a waste of time. It is good just for community and socialize and nice girls. If you have serious work to do and not just facebook chatting, like 90% of people there was doing, avoid this place. There are far better options in bali.

As a regular user of co-working spaces all around the world, this was my worst co-working experience ever. I've never experienced staff as rude and unhelpful. This is the only co-working space in Canggu and my guess is that the lack of competition has made them extremely greedy and complacent.
My friend and I are both members and wanted to bring a client of ours to work on a project with us for the morning. We took a taxi for an hour and a half from Ubud and arrived at 9am to be told that our client couldn't come in as they had 'sold out' of day passes (and that anyway, they're only available at the weekend). I asked if an exception could be made as we had travelled so far, it was only for a few hours, and the place was pretty empty at that point, but they refused. They kept telling me that she would have to spend approx $60 on a 25h membership (750 000 IDR), even though she would was only in Canggu for one day and would only need to use the space for 2-3 hours.
Eventually they allowed her to stay for an hour until the manager arrived, but she wasn't allowed to use the wifi or even buy a juice. I lent her my laptop to send a couple of important emails, but after an hour my internet was down. They'd cut my account without saying anything, even though they were standing a metres away. I went over to ask why they'd cut my internet and got a lecture from the manager about "the rules". We told that we had to leave, and I'm unsure whether my (paid-for) membership will be reactivated.
Co-working is meant to be all about embracing flexibility and a sense of community. This place especially sells itself on the community aspect, but there are so many rules and absolutely no charm or compromise when it comes to enforcing them. It couldn't feel less like a creative, like-minded, entrepreneurial space.
A couple more things I found out today: If you buy a 25 hour membership, you can't upgrade to a 50 hour one if your plans change and you need to spend more time there. You have to buy a whole new 25 hours which is extremely cost-ineffective. This is contrary to how all the other co-working spaces work.
Aside from the rude staff, the space is quite noisy and distracting. You'll need earphones to focus and the place shakes every time a motorbike goes past. The food is good but pricey. They do seem to offer a good selection of events, so it could be good for networking, but I'm not sure I'll be able to attend them.

The space is well laid out, offering nooks to chill in, standing-work space, tables, bean-bags and just a generally inspiring place to work in. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great food and drinks on offer, although a little on the pricey side. Location is exceptional, with the beach only a 2 minute walk away and quite a few restaurants close by. Unlike other co-working spaces, there is a real sense of community, if you take the initiative to get involved - which I didn't really.
On the downside, Dojo was quite pricey (especially for the 50 hour plan) and there was no locker provided, no second screen, no free skype-booth credits, no towels provided for swimming pool - I know I know, white collar problems. It was also really busy so needed to get there early to grab preferred spot.
Having said this, If you're in the Canggu area and need to get some work done, I'd recommend popping into Dojo for the great working environment and cool vibe.

I used it one day to work on my business. The WiFi was fast, I could use a 'skype booth' with air-con for a conference call, and tea and water is free.
Some rooms have air-con which can be used if not reserved by somebody. It was quite crowded when I was there and the day passes were sold out, so check before and better become a member of you plan to work 2-3 days min.
The only downside is that it is a little over priced.

For example, although the compound is neatly bisected in two with a fully functioning coffee shop and bistro in the front, the entirety of the restaurant is closed to the public every day except saturday and sunday. And should you be unfortunate enough to stop by for a weekend visit after 6pm you will be turned back into the street because the coffee shop is closed and there is nobody there to take your money. If you do manage to break through during the limited open hours you will find that your post purchase wifi token is only valid for 30 minutes(!)
I abhor businesses who choose to operate this way because they exemplify such a poor grasp of what it means to provide value. Dojo's business model is entirely based on greed and a self inflicted scarcity. It's barrier after barrier for what is essentially a box with wifi and some lockers in the back.
Maybe the experience is different if you let Dojo dig through your pockets without complaint, but the little details like the limited wifi token and the "Stop! You pay now!" attitude at the front desk shows the burecratic and medieval thinking of the management. It's utterly backwards for a center of open collaboration.
Open the restaurant to the public. Make subscription costs affordable. Share your resources and grow through scale, not scarcity. I have not subscribed, but I would suspect more of the same stinginess on the other side of the paywall.

I visited this place for the first time, I ordered coffee and opened my laptop to work on something (in the public free zone). In that place, you have to pay to get internet access which is fine, but I just wanted to do something on the internet for half hour while having a coffee and leave. Anyway, I opened my hotspot and worked on my laptop peacefully. Suddenly the owner of the place asks the Indonesian guy who works there in a very rude way, find the person who opened the hotspot here and tells him to leave the place! He was shouting in a way I even heard him! So I said I'm the one who did that, paid my coffee and left the place.
The owner he's a rude guy who doesn't know how to run a business and guess what there is nothing special about this place, in Bali you can find the internet everywhere for free and who need a meeting room while he is traveling anyway?
I DONT RECOMMEND IT, JUST GO TO ANY OTHER COFFEE SHOP AND ENJOY THE FREE INTERNET THERE. CANGGU IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO WORK ANYWHERE!
