My wife and I spent two weeks working remotely here and met some genuinely inspiring people! Beyond the fresh air, hikes and great views, it was refreshing to cook and share meals together along with all the conversations in between. We definitely walked away feeling like we made some good friends. Our time there also coincided with the chestnut harvest and halloween, so it was extra special to help with the harvest and carve some pumpkins! Well done to the team (and the co-livers) for creating such a beautiful place!

A very inspiring place to live, co-work, and rest — the sleep was sweet! The location is private, surrounded by stunning views of the nearby hills. There’s even a special spot to enjoy sunsets. The shared large kitchen and group cooking sessions made life there extra cozy and social. The hosts are incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything that comes up. I warmly recommend this place if you want to combine travel, work, and relaxation while being close to nature.

Staying at Tertulia Coliving in Tuscany was truly a soul-recharging experience. I arrived feeling stressed from my daily routine, and within a few days, I felt completely at peace. Being surrounded by nature, the mountains, the silence, the stars, helped me reconnect with myself in ways I didn’t expect. I spent a week here, working remotely while also taking part in community activities. Yet, it felt like a whole month of rest and inspiration. The view of the Tuscan hills is simply breathtaking, and I’m leaving with a full heart and renewed energy. Francesco and Anja’s vision, to bring people together through nature, connection, and purpose, truly comes to life here. They manage to unite people from around the world in the most genuine, warm, and inspiring way. A part of me will always stay here, and I can’t wait to come back.

A genuine place to discover this beautiful area. People involved in wonderful regeneration projects, like the Thursday Market, and co-living and retreat experiences that truly help you rediscover the beauty of nature. I stayed here for a week and it was a truly unique experience. The view of the valley is breathtaking, the people are incredibly welcoming, and the spaces are comfortable, although a few small touches would make it an even more special place. A big thank you to Francesco for his hospitality!

When I arrived in Tertulia, life really slowed down for me. I was able to deeply connect with nature, and my creativity was flowing like crazy. Anja and Francesco were the best hosts and bring so much love into this place, making it truly special. I was grateful for the events they organized with the local community, which made Tertulia feel like home.

Beautiful surroundings and a breathtaking view, plus a fully equipped kitchen that allows you to share lunches and dinners with colleagues. The entire Tertulia team is always available and very attentive to your requests. There's a little room for improvement in cleanliness, but nothing that stops you from enjoying the place.

Tertulia is a one of a kind place, it stays true to its values, offering an authentic community experience. Magical setting, really great engagement with local regenerative projects, I found co-working there really fruitful as I met lots of like minded people who were up for helping each other professionally and personally. I witnessed so many mini collaborations and spontaneous offerings. The setting is super cool, Vicchio and Borgo San Lorenzo are small but hold just enough life and people to make them interesting and worthwhile. In my experience the place was clean, tidy and beautifully looked after, its a stunning centuries old farmhouse surrounded by wild nature. Also I really got a feel for Italy and the Italian culture!

Tertulia is an absolute gem! ! ✨ I found them to be the perfect intersection between coliving and permaculture, offering a truly unique and enriching experience. Francesco and Anja are incredible hosts – warm, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to making everyone feel at home. There's always something engaging happening here, not just on the farm itself, but throughout the entire Mugello area. They are beautifully connected to the local communities, which means you'll have ample opportunities to participate in various activities and experience authentic Tuscan life (Magnalonga was really fun!) Beyond the atmosphere, the practicalities are also top-notch. The views are breathtaking, and the rooms are clean and cozy. Overall, I can't recommend Tertulia enough. It's a truly special place that combines community, sustainability, and genuine Italian hospitality 💚🏡

A year ago, I had the chance to stay at Tertulia, and I can say it is an amazing place. Francesco, the host, knows how to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Even though I am a quiet person, I was always invited to join activities, and I felt included without any pressure to talk or be social all the time. On Mondays, everyone meets to plan the week's activities and decide who will cook dinner. Cooking together is not only about making food - it is the way to connect, share experiences, and build friendships. I think this is the best idea at Tertulia because it makes the community stronger in a natural way. But there is no need to join if you want some time alone - the balance between social time and personal space is really good. For a true co-living and co-working experience surrounded by nature and a strong community, this is the place. I really want to go back.

I had a warm and welcome stay at Tertulia in March. What a beautiful and quiet place. Cooking together, a book club, good conversations and learning a little about permaculture on the side as well! I come back to visit and see how the tree we planted is doing.

I stayed at Tertulia for three weeks, which wasn’t enough! I can’t say enough about my positive experience at this beautiful place. It’s the perfect sized coliving, only 7 others stayed while I was there. Everyone is responsible for contributing to the cleanliness of the kitchen and for cooking meals, I know that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. It’s also quite remote, which is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. I’m already dreaming about returning!

My time at Tertulia had its own weird sense of time—sometimes it felt like the days stretched on forever, and other times they flew by. I spent three weeks there as a volunteer, and honestly, it was one of the best coliving experiences I've ever had. The place is surrounded by nature, making it the perfect spot to escape city life and all that chaos. Francesco, the owner, and his family are just the kindest people you'll ever meet. They made us feel so welcome and were always there when we needed anything. I knew nothing about permaculture when I arrived, but Francesco taught us these cool principles that you can pretty much apply to anything in life. I have very fond memories of staying at Tertulia for 2 weeks in May which felt much longer. Francesco is an incredibly generous, sensitive and inspiring person who creates a sense of community among the colivers and local people. Beyond a great coliving experience, I appreciated a lot him inviting us to meet people outside of the coliving and participate in his volunteering projects, regardless us not speaking Italian. The coliving itself is quite remote from everything, in a genuinely rural and local part of Italy. As I wasn’t looking for bubbling activities but for the time to connect with nature and people, it was a perfect choice. The endless sunsets and sunrises, dogs accompanying us for a run, morning yoga on the green hills, community dinners and a lovely company — I really felt at my place.

Tertulia Farm is a perfect gateway for those seeking rest and connection with like-minded individuals. The farm has lots of green space for walks and hikes nearby, and its elevation provides stunning sunsets every day. Guests are self-reliant and contribute to the harmony and well-being of the house. The rooms are cozy and charming, and waking up to sunlight and birdsong every morning is delightful. Every Monday, you and your homies will plan activities for the week and decide who will cook. Cooking together is a great opportunity to engage with others and build connections, though there's no pressure to socialize if you need solo time. Francesco, the host, is reliable and always available to help with any issues. I had a wonderful time, made new friends, and already miss everyone. If you're looking for a real co-living experience focused on community and set in nature, this is the place for you!

Amazing experience, perfect for escaping city life and reconnecting with nature in a beautiful remote location. I came without a car, but it was fine - there is a communal car that one can rent but also a lot of people came with their own cars so we would organise between ourselves grocery shopping trips or longer road trips on weekends. The sunsets are amazing, and so is the nature around.

I went to Tertulia to stay a month working remotely, stayed two, and I’m already planning when I’ll be back… this should be enough to say how amazing is Tertulia… incredible organization, all that you need to have your personal space or a vibrant community, made really good friends and felt an amazing energy and care from Francesco and all the other colivers. Not counting the sunsets…

Me and some friends thought about coming here next summer, as remote workers that love and have been to some coliving around Italy and Spain. Seeing all the recent reviews and hearing stories from people that were there (and unfortunately didn't write here), and reading the weird replies of the owner which seems to be always the "victim", this is a place we know we won't reach.

Amazing coliving. Great atmosphere, authentic environment. I strongly suggest to anyone that want to disconnect from city life and enjoy the little things at this place immersed in the nature

I stayed for a month last year and had such a great time at this coliving. I've now stayed at another coliving so have something to compare it to, and this one is vastly superior in fostering a sense of community. Francesco and Giorgia were very welcoming without being overbearing and there's a weekly meeting where new arrivals introduce themselves and people discuss things to do during the week. Yes, a lot of it is 'low-key' activities and shared dinners and walks, but that is exactly what I was looking for. The location is beautiful and peaceful. It is probably a bit too remote for my liking, but that's just a question of personal preference.

The only regret I have about my time in Tertulia is that I could not stay longer than a few days. I really need to come back. Still, I try to figure out what makes this place so special? Sure, it is an amazing landscape with stunning sunsets over Mugello valley. The morning fog between the old chestnut trees. The hidden paths in the surrounding forests, adventurous to find the way home in these times of abundant water. But even more I guess it is about the people that give the place its soul. Francesco and Giorgia seem to have a rare gift: to make people feel welcome and connected, without pushing them to anything. Being yourself and sharing with others is possible in this place. Potentials unfold. There is some kind of magic at work here. After staying in Tertulia for some months, several beautiful individuals had decided to change the course of their lives and moved into the vicinity! What a magnetism. Life is slower. Healthier. More human in a way. I need to come back.

Actually I considered not to post a review because I want to be sure that there will be a spot for me when I want to return next autumn! But this is a place that needs to be shared. Francesco and Georgia have an amazing place and I am happy that they want to share it. They are building on their mission to create a community around Tertulia and it works.! I felt part of a community, I made new friends and it feels like a place where I can always come back. I hope to see you there!

I stayed in Tertulia for 6 amazing weeks. I just read the bad reviews and I am appalled. I can get that an old farm isn't everyone's ideal setting, but what is described is oh SO far from my experience, which was SO AMAZING! But the one that really makes me absolutely furious is the one star review from a guy who didn't even come to Tertullia in the first place. He just concludes that it's bad based on reading reviews and hearing comments... How dare you leave a bad review of a place you didn't even visit???? So, since people giving bad reviews seemed to be all about giving future co-living a fair view, here is my fair view based on their comments. Because damn, if I had read those reviews and decided not to come because of it, what an amazing slice of my life I would have missed!! So: It's an old looking place, where not everything is perfect : yes, absolutely. It's also a place with the most amazing gigantic fireplace in the kitchen, making you live moments of ancient time few people ever get to experience nowadays. The yoga/event room is not only beautifully ancient yet practical, it also has an incredible long form stove that takes a few hours to heat, and that transforms a bench made of clay into a "sauna bench". I experienced some of the most magical moments of my year in that barn, following workshops lead by a friend of the co-living space. Making a very old building thrive is honestly darn difficult, and Francesco is doing all he can and is doing a great job in my opinion. I did not experience any bad odor or bad plumbing, or anything of the kind during my stay. One time the handle of my otherwise perfectly working shower broke, and Francesco went and bought a replacement and fixed it in a couple of hours. Yes, this place is remote, but so most of the other co-livings I have been to, and there was always enough cars around to organise shopping. I never had to pay for transportation. Yes, there wasn't a volunteer. All the 4 other co-livings I have been to were functioning with different settings, and this is just another different setting. Francesco gave us ideas of things to do every time we asked, it really wasn't hard to get the info. I had zero problems of dirty water in the sink for the 6 weeks I was there. I was just surrounded with great people. Maybe previous co-livers were unlucky with their group. It only takes one bad player to turn everything to hell sometimes... But please don't blame it on the owner! Because some co-livings are so thoroughly organise doesn't mean we should all turn into children who can't think and get organised by ourself! Co-livings are not nurseries! You also should remind yourself that most co-living owners have another job on the side. Because having a co-living isn't the most lucrative thing in the world to do. Francesco also happens to be a farmer: one of the most demanding of jobs in terms of time there ever was, and also one of the least paid job. If you're in Europe as I write this, you must have heard of the crisis surrounding the survival of farmers. You know how tough it is for them. So to say that all Francesco cares about is collecting the money, after all he does for almost nothing! That is such a huge misunderstanding of the truth. The truth is: it is really darn hard to make ends meet having to take care of a farm and a co-living, and Francesco is giving it all he has, because he loves it. He loves the sense of community, and having a purpose, and believing that what he does makes the world a better place. He is an extremely kind hearted man, and him, his family and the place easily deserve the 5 stars I can give them. I loved the other co-living I went to. But this was my best experience, for all the uniqueness it could bring, and it will be the first co-living I will go back to, if I decide to go somewhere a second time. Oh, and did I mention the most amazing landscape and sunsets ever?...

Tertulia is the perfect place for remote workers who love the countryside and nature and want to live in community ♥️🌱 In tertulia I met incredible people from different countries, with whom we organized activities every week: shared meals, trekking circuits, meditations, workout, yoga, etc.. The place has the best panoramic views and the best sunsets. The hosts are always very friendly and take care of your needs. Super respectful with the environment and very open minded. They are the best creating a very good atmosphere for the community!

Tertulia has a lot of potential. It’s a shame most of it is unmet. From all the colivings I have been to over the years, this is by far the worst one and I feel nomads deserve an accurate portrayal of what its like prior to arriving- 1. The kitchen is constantly dirty, unmaintained and while I was there it was also infested with rats, one of which died and it took the owner 4 full days to attend to the problem in a serious way. Meanwhile, the stench covered the entire first floor of the house including the kitchen, the coworking spaces, and the bathroom intended for the colivers while working. Needless to say, during my first week at Tertulia I spent most of my time outside. 2. There is no host or community manager and the place is clearly not a priority. This means the colivers initiate their own activities, cook their own the meals etc. As most of us dont have cars, all the activities took place within walking distance or onsite. There is no connection to local culture, no recommendations of places to go or things to do. During my time Tertulia I learned of 2 local festivals in the nearby town after the fact, which the owner didn’t bother to tell us about or suggest taking us to. There is clearly no interest in any sort of cultural exchange. 3. Despite the fact that it’s a rural location, most nomads travel without a car, and there is no supermarket within walking distance- the owner didn’t feel compelled to provide a way for us to shop and charged money for gas every time we used the car for basic necessities such as food. In general the overall feeling is that the owner views Tertulia as a money making machine in which he collects money but doesn’t really feel compelled to give back any sort of basic services and amenities. Unlike other rural colivings I’ve stayed at in which the hosts took a genuine interest in the colivers, provided special treats from their garden or things they baked, took us to the store to get anything we needed, or offered to get it for us and we paid them back. 4. For joint dinners all the colivers share in the costs. Although the owners have a family of 5 including himself, his wife and 3 grown teenagers with a healthy appetite who come to every single dinner- he only shares in the expenses covering himself and his wife. This basically means the colivers feed the owners kids on average 3 times a week on their dime. Yes, the setting and the sunsets are beautiful. And the locals I met and befriended on my own accord were fabulous people. But personally, when I choose a coliving over a hotel or Airbnb its for the community aspect. The only community at Tertulia was the one happening organically between a group of people living together. That can hardly be accredited to the owner who was almost never around.

I stayed here for a month in October 2022. What I loved most about Tertulia are the people I met there. Everyone I interacted with, from the hosts to the colivers, were genuine, kind, and friendly people. They are open to new perspectives and having conversations that go beyond surface-level things like career. At the time, we were a smaller group of about 8-10 people so we really got to know each other. Important things to know before coming: - This is a peaceful coliving perfect for people who really *love* nature and want a break from the busy city life. - Ideally, you should have a car. The house is in a remote location on a hill, surrounded by the forest and walking to the nearby village where there are supermarkets, cafes, etc. would take you at least an hour. You can manage without a car, there's always someone who can give you a ride but you'd still be dependent on their schedule.

I’ve been meaning to write this review for some time, and I hope my points will be taken as something Tertulia can improve rather than as a hit. It has lots of potential as a coliving, but it just isn’t living up to it and I want potential colivers to have a honest reflection of the current situation. My boyfriend and I stayed there in July 2023 and when we booked it based on instagram, photos and reviews, it looked communal, organic and a great coliving to base ourselves for July. I’ll start with the good: 1. It has the best sunsets. I really enjoyed spending my time outside, even in the hot July summer. 2. The owner is kind and has a good heart. 3. Wifi is good. My concerns were: 1. Lack of interested volunteers: good volunteers or hosts is key to a good community, and this is definitely something Tertulia lacked. Just before Tertulia, we stayed at an amazing coliving in Bulgaria, and after a few weeks in Tertulia, we definitely missed the community feel. Yes, in Tertulia there is a weekly meeting where activities for the week are discussed, but I felt that most of the events spoken about never came to fruition, and I think that is mainly due to a lack of dedicated volunteers. 2. Cleanliness: The cleaner who came twice weekly did her best to clean the communal areas, but it’s hard to clean a place that is already worn and dirty. Our room felt stuffy, and the window cover had holes letting in bugs and lots of mosquitos. The kitchen wasn’t a great place to cook and felt consistently dirty (due to clutter, dirty dishes, mouldy food, etc). 3. No good coworking spaces: There was a small room with a table and a few random chairs inside and some outside tables to work from, but there were no official coworking spots with office chairs and desks. Because of this, neither of us felt productive in Tertulia. 4. Lack of organisation: even at the end of our one-month stay, we felt that we still had no idea what there was to do in the area (best hikes, swimming spots, and places to visit). It’s something that could be set up in a Word doc, but because of lack of organisation, it means guests aren’t getting the most out of their time there. 5. Remoteness: We had no idea how truly remote Tertulia was until we arrived. I don’t think this is necessarily a bad thing if you rent a car.

My recent stay at Tertulia was bad enough that I ended up leaving early, and I wasn’t the only one to do so. I hope this review will provide more insight of what daily life is like there. Having no volunteers dedicated to the upkeep of communal areas, especially the kitchen, led to consistent clutter and filth, with the sink often clogged with 10+ cm of standing water, littered with dirty pots, dishes, and wooden utensils. This wasn’t a one-off event, but an almost daily occurrence. The multiple dogs made peaceful nights a rarity. Despite being in a distant room and using noise-canceling headphones, the barking kept me awake most nights, and the dogs appeared to be quite uncared for, unclean, and unhealthy, which was very disheartening. The house was plagued with bugs, from mosquitoes and flies in common areas, especially the kitchen, to an unsettling number of stink bugs in my bedroom — on my pillows, in my clothes, and even on my bed. My room's window screen, with large holes and gaps, did little to keep them out. I eventually had to keep all of my clothes vacuum sealed all the time, and I'd have to check the blanket, sheets, and pillows for bugs before I could get in. And then there was the decaying mouse in the kitchen (eventually found under one of the refrigerators), which remained for almost half of my stay, and made me wretch and gag every time I was in there. The outdoor area is more dust than grass, leading to a very dusty interior as it blew in. The house had consistent plumbing issues, the kitchen sink was rarely not clogged, showers often led to standing in accumulated water, and the bathroom emitted a persistent sewage odor. Most colivings facilitate community bonding through organized activities but at Tertulia, due to its isolation, options were limited and lacking in diversity. To make up for this, we usually had an excessive amount of shared dinners instead. The essence of coliving is communal sharing, but here, it felt like every minor convenience had a price tag. This constant nickeling and diming detracted from the community spirit I’ve come to expect from a coliving. The absence of a room fan made October nights unbearable, I can't imagine the summer months. The kitchen was ill-equipped, with only a handful of bowls. To top it off, the tap water tasted excessively treated. The one positive I can give the place is that the nightly sunsets are the best, but Tertulia seriously underdelivers on its promise as a coliving space. The owner, while a pleasant person, highly prioritizes his farm and his family (including 3 children who live on the property), leaving colivers to deal with the myriad of problems. If you value cleanliness, comfort, and clarity in costs, you might want to reconsider choosing Tertulia. Updated Response to Tertulia Coliving: On the topic of non-payment, I settled over half of my reservation's initial cost despite my decision to leave early due to the challenges I faced during my stay. I firmly believe in the principle of "you get what you pay for" being a two-way street. The amount I've paid, in my view, was commensurate with the service and conditions I experienced. I've stayed at nine different colivings around the world, each with its unique character and setting. This gives me a broad perspective on what's reasonable to expect, regardless of how rural or urban the location might be, and my issue isn’t with nature but with the management and upkeep of the property. Rural does not necessarily equate to a lack of cleanliness or organization. Though it's stated that problems were rectified swiftly, many issues, like the persistent state of the kitchen and the bug infestation, were ongoing during my stay. I understand that Tertulia is a home, not a hotel, however, when you offer it as a coliving space, certain standards are expected by those paying for the experience. I genuinely hoped for a more fulfilling experience. My intention is not to diminish Tertulia's reputation but to provide an accurate account of my stay to help future colivers make informed decisions.

Wonderful place! Really great hosts that integrate the coliving life into the typical Italian and Tuscan country side life. I had some heart warming experience while staying in Tertulia for a month. I still miss the place and I'll go back for sure. Wine, fire, fruits, forest, peace and meaningful encounters. Everything I was looking for at the moment I found in and around this place❤️

I came to Tertulia for 2 weeks last summer and ended up staying for over a month. Some of the highlights: - 360 views on lush mountain forest (I really didn’t know it can be so green in Tuscany!) - The hosts are absolutely lovely and make you feel very welcome and comfortable. Ditto for the colivers and for the the ex-colivers that have settled in the area over time. Tertulia really feels like a part of the fabric of local community - Solid internet (which they’ve recently made even better) and lots of space for working including a desk in each room - Kitchen very spacious and super well-equipped, we’ve made all sorts of ambitious cooking projects and found everything we needed - I was without a car and it wasn’t really a problem - there’s always someone going down to town so not hard to hitch a ride - This really feels like a coliving, there’s always something going on, not in a way that feels forced but because people genuinely want to hang out, cook and celebrate together - The property is huge so there’s also plenty of space for quiet alone time - Organic garden where if you are interested you can learn about permaculture - Special s/o for super inexpensive delicious local natural wine in the honesty bar I really loved my time here and cannot recommend it enough! Cannot wait to be back <3

Just go for it! It is pure magic to stay at Tertulia. Francesco and the community are such beautiful people. We had lots of special moments while cooking, hiking, sharing our stories or simply chilling on the hammock reading a book. The views towards tuscany are breathtaking. Can recommend 100%

At the end of the three weeks I spent in Tertulia, living and working remotely, I felt like at home :) The owners Francesco and Giorgia are welcoming, super easy going and open minded. There are many indoor and outdoor spaces for working. The general atmosphere is community-like. The nature is all around: stunning sightview from the hill, dogs and cats populate the field around the house and the vegetables and fruit from the garden are delicious! I really really like this place and hope to come back soon to enjoy some more weeks or months of digital nomadism here.

One of the best places in the world to be "tranquila", in contact with nature, eating good food (all bio and from the farm surround), walking with the farm dogs, staying in the "camineto" (chimney) and overall, have a nice out of the city experience with a great community

I stayed at Tertulia for a week to work remotely, and it was a fantastic experience. The internet works great throughout the house (even in the garden!), and the space management is ideal for remote working, with the option of choosing private or shared spaces based on your needs. All this is surrounded by a pleasant family atmosphere: the wonderful people who live or work in the house are welcoming and inclusive. Highly recommended!

A beautiful place to be for coliving and coworking within tuscan forests/countryside. It felt like home. I will defintely come back. The spacious common space offers enough space to share and also to get privacy. You can also use several place around the house to work or rest. The most favorit place would be the hamock overlooking the beautiful tuscan countryside. ;-) WiFi works just fine. You might check in advance in case you need big data streaming. Giorgia & Francesco are perfect hosts. They are taking care of all needs and creating community.

When it comes to coworking places, or coliving, Tertulia is by far the best experience I had. The location is fantastic, rooms are comfortable, enough working space and stable internet, and Francesco and Giorgia are wonderful hosts and attract an amazing crowd to their little slice of heaven. Definitely will come back.

Tertulia is a really inspiring and unique place with amazing, warm hearted people, great nature and everything you need to enjoy beautiful Tuscany, work on projects, discover the surroundings and just be happy! :)

I have had the most amazing experience staying at Tertulia! Apart from the quiet secluded location the amazing views from my window all the way to Vicchio village in the distance. The Tuscan mountains ever changing light and colours show me why so many grate artists have been inspired by this amazing landscape. This combined with warm hospitality with an emphasis on living harmoniously in nature with real organic foods grown on the property and produced in the local area, I left feeling healed and recharged.

A renovated ancient Tuscan village where you are introduced to rustic life with a smart and sustainable approach.

Farmhouse with a Michelin-starred chef?... Water; infinity pool and breakfast in bed?... Water; a faux-rustic restaurant with a glass window overlooking the hill and 1000-km food because the animals in the pens are only there for show?... Water increasingly liquid. Delicious and nutritious vegetables from the garden grown in permaculture? A little fire. A super-regenerating place full of energy?... Fire. Want to share an experience with very genuine people? The flames are ever higher. Yes, Tertulia is a magical place that has an almost therapeutic effect on me. I arrive stressed, I leave relaxed, I enter like Luigi and leave like Superman because the climate and spirit of the place have a mix of components that manage to wash the kryptonite off me. Maintained, conceived, and created by Francesco and Giorgia, Tertulia is an indefinable place because it doesn't belong to any category of offers present on the market (farmhouse, restaurant, hotel, campsite, albergo diffuso) despite offering part of everyone's experience. Perhaps "laboratory" is the word that best captures the atmosphere in this corner of Mugello, nestled in the chestnut grove. A laboratory in the sense of experimentation, both naturalistic and botanical, typological, and above all relational. Nothing is standard, everything is built to measure, and each guest feels an integral part of a project that without them would certainly have been different. The host family is very welcoming without being intrusive, the kitchen is shared, the rooms are super clean, unique, and meticulously maintained. A ping pong table in the shade of the trees has recently been livening up the warm afternoons of both adults and children. The sunsets are unforgettable, the scents intoxicating, and the flavors of the garden's vegetables are unheard of for the Milanese palate. The starry sky is splendid, appearing clear and bright as night falls. An ideal place to retreat while working remotely or to experience culinary and cultural experiences... Florence is nearby. If you pass by, give Filú a pat, the world's kindest white dog who looks like a stuffed animal. Long live Tertulia.

We stayed at Tertulia for two weeks, having a wonderful time filled with fireflies, sunsets, outdoor living, a warm welcome, and opportunities to connect. Perfect for a family getaway with kids, but also for a break or remote work immersed in nature. Highly recommended!
