After staying in Alpiness for two weeks in September, my first coliving experience, I knew immediately that a) this place is very special and sets a very high standard, and b) I wanted to come back for longer – and so I did! Five weeks in November and December both flew by and felt like a whole year for the amount of things that happened. Life is rich in Alpiness. You get to work while looking at some of the most unbelievable views from your workplace window, you get to go on adventures big and small basically daily (not exaggerating, you'd have to struggle not to), you get to meet incredible people, you get to try and learn new things. Be it a new level of outdoor activity or an ambitious project in the kitchen, a new self-improvement routine or a board game you didn't know you'll love – Alpiness will find ways to challenge you and make you grow, and it'll make it fun! And everyday you'll get to look around and pinch yourself. You'll be staying in absolute dreamland, and you'll find yourself working hard to make the most out of it. Fabienne, Ben, Lucie, Louis, Austrus, Winchy – I love you guys, you're many times the best. <3

You don’t have to hesitate, just book! I stayed here for a month from Nov-Dec. And I was super lucky to see both autumn and winter stunning view. It was the best decision of this year! There are family dinner from Mon to Fri, so you don’t have to cook that much. It’s not only fun but also saves a lot of money! There are even ski gear and winter clothes you can rent with good price, save more money! There are weekly family meeting so everyone can organize events together, hike, ski, board game, meaningful nights…as you wish! You can make friends organically amazingly in a short time. 200% recommend, the best Coliving I’ve stayed. They take care of everyone with love❤️

It’s hard to capture the magic of Alpiness in a review, but if you’re considering staying, don’t hesitate! This was my first coliving experience after two years of solo travel and the community, adventures, and experience here have completely changed how I want to travel, in the best ways! Ben, Fabienne, and Austris have created such a wonderful home in Les Haudères for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Swiss Alps. Not to mention, the countless activities you can join (hiking, climbing, via ferratas, snow shoe hiking, skiing, and so many more) at all levels of experience. Plus, the different shared events like family dinners, bake offs, movie nights, game nights, and more provide activities for all folks. It’s just overall an amazing place to be and I can’t wait to be back!

Absolutely loved staying at Alpiness, the surroundings are dreamlike and the coliving is outstanding, you can really tell the owners Fabien and Ben poured their heart and soul into it. Everything is done with care, they are super welcoming and you really feel like you are part of a community while staying there. They organize a tonne of activities throughout the week, there's never really a dull moment, but if you need to focus and work there's plenty of space to do that as well. WARNING if you're outdoorsy - the whole experience is extremely addictive and hard to get over, and it can make returning to normal life extremely difficult. I can't wait to get back and spend more time there.

You are looking for a place full of outdoorsy, welcoming, adventure-seeking and beautiful nomads, colivers and winter sport fans? No need to look further. I loved my stay in Alpiness Coliving and will come back for sure. The sleepy town of Les Haudéres makes you slow down, the people in the house make you try new things and the owners (Fabienne, Ben and Austris. Ohh and Winchy of course) make you feel so so welcome. Waking up to a beautiful view of mountain ranges and a good cup of coffee from the best coffee Maschine in town to falling asleep after a hearty community dinner at night - each day was just awesome. See you next winter. ✌️

Growing up in Southern California, the Swiss Alps are something you dream about but only see on TV. Then one day BOOM, you're at Alpiness Coliving and the dream has come true, Dent Blanche is right out your bedroom window. To say that pictures don't do it justice is ever so cliche, but ever so true in this case. You truly have to be there to fully appreciate it. If you have never experienced Coliving, this is the place you want to start. It's like your friends have opened up their house to all their other friends from around the world and brought you all together. The only downside for digital nomads is that you will never want to work because you will always want to be outside experiencing all that Les Hauderes has to offer. Then at night you get to catch up, play games, watch movies, laugh (and sometimes even cry) with all your new friends in an environment of safety and inclusion. You want to spend time here. Seriously.

What Fabienne, Ben and the rest of the team have created in Les Hauderes is poetry in action, a grounding home that hugs your soul, body and heart. I am fascinated how when I met them 2 years ago, Alpiness was just an idea, and they made it happen in such a fast and intentional way. This is the home I needed to recharge and inspire back. They have created a unique environment in a remote village that welcomes an extraordinary community of remote workers who find warmth amidst these cold mountains. They also give all the facility to practice outdoors sports in the valley: hiking, Skiing, climbing... and the family dinners all together are wonderful. Top experience among top human being, can´t wait to be back!

What an incredible place! Fabienne and Ben foster a fantastic community with a super welcoming vibe. You don't have to be into outdoor sports to enjoy your stay here but if you are you are sure to find a group of people with whom to hike, climb, mountaineer, trail run, or do via ferratas. The location could hardly be better for any of these activities but is at the same time surprisingly easy to reach on public transport and there's even a small supermarket within walking distance (though it's only needed so often since there's communal family dinners every weeknight). I cannot recommend this place enough and I will surely return as soon as I can.

Alpiness absolutely exceeded my expectations. I spent a mont here and regretted not booking longer. The house has everything you'd need as a remote worker. The coworking areas are great, the kitchen is super well equipped, the rooms are nice and cosy. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, I had to pinch myself every time I walked to the store 😄 There are many amazing hikes starting right from the house. But most of all, the community is the amazing. It's definitely the best part. It's so warm and welcoming and also very active. There is something happening every day - hikes, climbing in the summer, skiing in the winter, workouts, cooking, movies, games, etc etc! Such a special place. I can thoroughly recommend staying here.

I had really high expectations for two weeks in the Swiss Alps, and Alpiness was able to exceed them. Ben, Fabienne, and Winchy are the ideal coliving hosts. They put a huge amount of thought into everything they do while also soliciting input from the guests. The facilities throughout including the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, cowork spaces are all top-notch.

This was my first experience at a co-living after being a nomad for 2 years and WHAT AN EXPERIENCE! Ben & Fabienne have created such an amazing space where you instantly feel like a family or old friends. I was worried I would get board in a small village but quite the contrary. I ran out of time to do all the activities I wanted to! From family meals, to group activities, to skill-shares, it's everything I could ask for as a first time co-liver. Alpiness has set the bar high! The space is wonderful and is only going to get better with all the additional plans they have - Can't wait to stay with you again.

Alpiness is the perfect place for mountain lovers who can work remotely and want to be part of a nice community. Ben and Fabienne converted this former hotel into one of the best colivings I have been so far. Lots of space, many private rooms, a bright co-working area and soon a gym / climbing wall in the basement! As always in colivings, what matters the most is the community, and Alpiness does a very good job on that side too, attracting very nice people from different backgrounds, who are always happy to go out and enjoy the Swiss Alps! If you're looking for mountains, nice working conditions and a real community, look no further! Bonus points if you're a dog lover!

Although the coliving is new, the community Ben & Fabienne have created is already so welcoming, kind, adventurous, and all around good people. This was my first true community colive, I’ve been in others numerous times, and the experience was truly touching and unique. The hosts, Fabienne and Ben, were always there to help, plan, suggest and organize trips. Everyone staying there is warm and welcoming and inclusive. From communal dinners every night, to short or multi day hut hikes it was the perfect experience in the mountains. Having seasoned climbers and hikers, hosts and guests, really pushes you to try more challenging terrain in a safe supportive community. There are trails for hiking and trail running right outside the house at all levels of difficulty with some of the most gorgeous views. It so compelling that I will be going back for the winter to ski and explore a completely different landscape The rooms are well furnished, kitchen - well stocked, colive - well appointed with fast WiFi and the house - very cozy. Plus the cutest colive dog - Winchy. This is not a town for bars or parties though your house mates will be happy to oblige. It’s a tiny town of 300 and I saw at most 10 people at a time. There are more cows and sheep. But it’s idyllic, tranquil, and fresh with stunning views. If you love the outdoors, go there! Enough said.

I stayed here for the month of September and had a magical time! Ben and Fabienne are truly wonderful people, always happy to help and involve themselves in the day to day activities. There was never a dull day in the month I was there, with many activities ranging from Hiking to Fondue night. The general culture of the co-living is very family-like, which helps to make you feel at home given it's in a fairly remote village, and i've made friendships here which hopefully I will keep for a very long time. The facilities of the co-living were all top notch, with the kitchen being fully stocked and any general amenities being provided in good time, they're even trying to build a gym! I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a close-knit co-living that also loves the outdoors. They've done a truly stellar job with it and I can't wait to come back in February for the winter season.

I volunteered at Alpiness in August 2023 and i have to say it was one of the best experiences this year. Ben and Fabienne are very kind and organized. They try their best to make everyone feel at home. The Coliving has everything i need: A beautiful kitchen with 2 stoves, a spacious coworking area, a separate call room and a living room. The Community aspect is important and you meet cool people and have incredible dinners. I gained a kilo :D There are a lot of acitivities available in nature: During my 3 weeks at i went to multiple hikes and a via ferrata. There is a small Supermarket (Denner) in walking distance and a lot of the times there is someone driving to the coop which is a 5mins drive away. If you read this far: What are you waiting for? Book your stay and create some awesome memories :)

Where to begin... If you want a beautiful place, grounded in nature and community, filled with quality human connections, great vibe, a superb well-taken care space; search no more, you just found it. When I arrived in Alpiness as a volunteer to help renovate the place I was welcomed by Ben and Fabienne; the owners. They are great people, down to earth and empathetic. They also know what people need and they truly know what is a Coliving and what embodies it at the very heart: community. The coworking has great light and it's a great setting for focused work while having views to the enormous mountains. The rooms are amazing, it's great to wake up with great views to the valley. The kitchen is breathtaking, incredibly functional and with a great design. I didn't get the change to see it all finished up but I'm stoked to visit it again, they have great plans and ideas to make this one of the best Colivings on earth. You have access as well to a lot of outdoor activities, such as climbing, hiking, via ferratas and winter sports. There's also board games for the more indoor focused folks. I've added some pictures but some of them showed the Coliving in the making, now it's fully finished.
