Vivarium | Coliving & Coworking valencia

I had a great time at Vivarium! I stayed for one month and I will definitely be back! The location is very nice. There are so many good restaurants, places to have a drink, the park is nearby, a lot of gyms in the area and all of these are easily done by foot. The people is what the co living experience is about. I never shared a house with others in the past, but this was way better than I expected. Everyone is willing to connect to and people are constantly taking initiative to do stuff around town. You won't be bored! It was very nice getting to know so many people from different countries and learn from each other. The co living itself is great. There are 3 floors of bedrooms and every floor has its own living room/kitchen area. And there is a floor used as a co working area. It's a very nice place to work, my favorite was the 'focus room' with lots of light. I would definitely recommend Vivarium if you're thinking about going to a co living (in Valencia). If you're able to go longer than 1 month, definitely do so. Time flies when you're having fun! ☀️🇪🇸🍽️

My partner and I had an amazing stay at Vivarium, and it was the perfect place to kick off our time here in the city. We stayed a total of 3 months. The people: The people we met during our stay were absolutely amazing. It is the thing I am most thankful for of our time here. To be able to arrive at a completely new location and have a good-natured and friendly community to explore and enjoy the city with is super important. Also Mer and Petra worked really hard on keeping the co-living atmosphere relaxed and easy-going. Thursday dinners were regularly a highlight of our weeks there. The location: The location couldn't be better for the city of Valencia. Truly. Most popular areas are accessible by walking. Ruzafa has hundreds of restaurants and cafes to enjoy and they're right on your doorstep. The Turia park is a 7 minute walk away. Well-serviced bus stops are also nearby if you want to travel further afield. The facilities: There is a co-working floor that has AC and a lot of natural light. The shared communal spaces also receive a lot of natural light. It makes the co-living feel open and spacious. We had a lot of kitchen equipment we could make use of. The bedrooms have a desk as well to work from and we had an amazing balcony for our room.

I stayed at Vivarium in the month of June and had an okay experience, but not positive enough for me to return. Pros: Sense of Community - there are weekly potluck dinners and activities that encourage interaction. Location - fantastic location in an upscale neighborhood close to restaurants, public transportation, and the city center Cons: Comfort - no heating or cooling in bedrooms, making it uncomfortable (or impossible) to sleep in extreme summer or winter temperatures. The showers are so small that even a small person cannot maneuver inside of them. Functionality - The internet speed/quality did not work well which was a huge problem for someone who is required to be on video meetings for work. This was not just a problem for me, but for others as well. The tile floors without rugs or decor on the walls created echoes in nearly every room. The poor internet and echoes in all the rooms make work nearly impossible. Cheap Management - there are no coffee machines in the building, only moka pots or old drip machines and no filtered drinking water. When I was there, a group of colivers requested that the management order a Nespresso machine for everyone to use in the common area, as these machines are only $100 and could be used by all 20+ people in the building, but we were denied. When you take into consideration that Vivarium is making thousands per month in rents, it's disappointing that the management would not invest in something as simple as a $100 coffee machine that would last for years and make dozens of guests happy. Because everyone is buying bottled water there is also immense amounts of plastic recycling every day. The management could invest in giving the guests a better experience but does not actively seek or action on feedback.

When I moved out after 4 weeks, I felt a little sad. Community life at the Vivarium was great, and the city had a wonderful atmosphere, I loved working out in Turia Park, I liked the Spanish people, who clearly enjoy life, and I also liked the Vivarium’s location. Everything is within easy walking distance from there. All in all great experience for sure.

Great place to live and work in an amazing city.

We, my partner and I, stayed at Vivarium for the second time, once last January and again this year. Overall, it’s a place with a lot of potential and charm, which is also why we decided to come back. What we really like: Vivarium is very well located in a lively neighbourhood, close to the Turia park. The building itself is beautiful, with charming tiles, and the co-living atmosphere is a real plus. The people staying there and the activities that are organised create a fun and social experience. What could be improved: Unfortunately, both stays had some issues around management and hospitality. During our first stay there was a booking mistake and we ended up in a smaller room than expected. This time, we had to move to a different room and floor after one week. Additionally, I experienced problems with the keys twice: the first set did not work at all for our room and the co-living spaces, and the second set also worked poorly. Checking this more carefully in advance would already make a big difference in how welcome guests feel. The rooms themselves are quite basic. The en-suite bathrooms in both rooms were rather cramped, storage is limited to a simple wardrobe, and there is little decoration to make the rooms feel cosy. A bit more attention to these details, as well as a clearer and warmer check-in process (showing guests around and explaining how everything works) and improving the kitchen stuff (cups, plates, glasses etc.), would really improve the overall experience. In summary: Vivarium has a great location and a nice co-living community. With a bit more care and attention to hospitality, organisation, and room and kitchen facilities, it could easily be a 5-out-of-5 experience.

I've done many colivings and vivarium was far and away one of my very favorites. the location is excellent, right in the heart of urban valencia. and the management/support is friendly and responsive. I loved how they put consistent effort into weekly community events, and the place was overall spacious and clean. I would definitely stay with vivarium again.

Just book it - you won’t regret. I travel full time and this is the best coliving I’ve been to. The community here is unmatched. Dome, the community manager facilitates family dinners, cinema nights and skill exchange evenings. They also introduce new colivers on Slack before they arrive which makes you feel right at home once you get there as people expect you and know a little bit about you. The rooms are lovely and kitchen is well equipped to prepare your food. Coliving is close to a big park, Lidl, gyms, Pilates studios and lots of bars and restaurants. It’s a very walkable city. And the great weather all year long also helps. I went first for 1 month and then later in the year booked for 2 months as I couldn’t get enough! Go, go, go!

I wasn't really aware of 'Coliving' until I started searching for coworking spaces, and I wasn't sure how well I would meld back into living with larger groups. Something I hadn't done for years. But I enjoyed this experience so much, there is always someone around who is willing to go out and explore, go to the beach, a walk in the park or even just to share a dinner with. Vivarium itself organises a few weekly events which are great to get to know others, chat and eat good food. The team is also great and keeping you up to date on local events and places to visit etc. Pablo and Dome are very warm, welcoming and are cultivating such a fun and wonderful place to experience. i enjoyed my 3 months there so much that I have already booked to return in March '24!

I spent a month at Vivarium in the fall of 2023. I don't have enough good things to say about both Valencia and Vivarium. For Valencia, there is something for everyone. For Vivarium, if you're looking for a family environment with good people and lots of things to do while still getting your work done, it's the perfect place. The space is clean and modern, you have every kitchen utensil you could need, it's a wonderful place to be. Highly highly recommend.

I had an amazing month in Valencia, and Vivarium has exceeded my expectations. In 5 years of nomading, I’ve never found a community like this one. My next stay is already booked.

Vivarium was our first coliving experience, but it offered us so much more than we expected! We had a perfect combination of our privacy and being able to hang out with someone anytime we want to. The community activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays are all optional, but we liked the group so much that we never skipped anything. Since the apartment is spacious, you have enough space to work, have meetings or just chill. Pablo is an amazing host, available for all questions and suggestions, also he is the best source of local recommendations. 😊 Vivarium is definitely a great and affordable way to stay in Valencia for a longer period of time.

Do you want to remote work from Valencia and looking for: - meeting other remote workers easily - an owner with true personal interest - being part of a community with social Connections but without social obligations - privacy: your own room, bathroom and desk - a lively neighbourhood NOT in the touristic old town, but closeby - the park in 5 min. Walk - a direct busstop to the beach in 1 min. Walk? Then Vivarium is your place to be!! What can I say ... I could not have had a better time in Valencia ! Vivarium is ideally designed and equipped with all you will ever need. I 100% recommend it. The apartment is beautiful, everything is spotless, organized, clean, and designed for everyone's comfort. Each room is equipped with everything you need and has the added bonus of a private bathroom. Besides all that (which is super important to me), Pablo creates such a unique community that you feel comfortable from day one. I had such a wonderful, happy, positive stay at Vivarium and couldn't recommend it highly enough. Pablo and Alba are so welcoming and it is clear to see that the entire place is a labour of love. This comes across in every aspect from the well thought out practical rooms, the excellently coordinated communication and the overall energy of the space. Practicalities aside what really makes vivarium unique is the people. Here you will find a ready made social circle, stay up late chatting, support each other, share food and laughs. Here you will find a home for your time in Valencia. Thank you Pablo and Alba, you know I'll be back soon!

Good location, well equipped, modern kitchen, nice house, beds are comfortable, clean and with modern showers. There are two social events in the house every week, but it's not mandatory to join. The events are nice enough to regularly attract previous co-livers who do not even live in the house any longer. The few regrets I heard about this place was from people who wished they had booked longer stays. The hosts Pablo and Alba are passionate about their project, and will treat you like friends. If you are noise sensitive, bring ear plugs, but then again, if you are noise sensitive, don't come to Valencia. Highly recommended.

It is very easy to connect and do fun activities with like minded people, but there is also still enough space to be on your own (whether this is for work or not). Location is also superb; a vibrant area and with the park being just a few blocks away. If you would like to enjoy the city to the fullest and be part of a close and inspiring community: this is your spot!

There's so many great things about this place that I don't know where to start! I spent two months at Vivarium and don't think I could have imagined of somewhere better to stay. I was personally hesitant about living with 8 other people. Vivarium has shown me that there's a way to share a space with others while not compromising confort or tranquility. The house itself is beautiful and super well maintained with love and care. And the people that live in it are super respectful, which makes this place a really enjoyable place to live in. And bonus point, I ended up finding people I truly connected with and that I will remain friends with for a long time!!! I am extremely grateful for my experience and my time at Vivarium. The only regret I have is not have booked longer in the first place. Highly recommended!

Vivarium is a great coliving! The house is nice and has everything you need for your stay (speed internet, washing machine, full equipped kitchen even a guitare!). The place is perfect to enjoy the city. Pablo is attentive to the needs of the community and has a lot of recommandations to make the most of Valencia.

I stayed here for a month and had the most magical time here in Valencia. Pablo works really hard to make this coliving a safe, cohesive place to come together and experience life as a group. I met so many wonderful people from all over the world and learned a lot of things. There is a one month minimum to stay here, but I don't believe there is a maximum. You have the option to get a membership to the local co-working space, but is not mandatory. As for the accomodations themselves, everyone has your own room and bathroom. Plenty of storage within the room. Cleanings are done every week. There is a washer, and clothes are hung out to dry. The kitchen / dining room area is spacious and often a number of people will cowork or eat together at any given time. 100% recommended to stay here if you'd like to experience Valencia with a group of people.

Vivarium is not just a co-living. Vivarium is HOME! I've stayed at this beautiful place for 7 months and will for sure be back! I could write a lot about the convenience of the location, great co-working space and such, but that's not what makes Vivarium special. Vivarium is a place with incredible energy and people, Vivarium is where new projects/ideas and new friendships are born. Vivarium is where you discover yourself and feel accepted, it's the house where people say "Life is damn good, I love my life!" on a daily basis. Pablo & Alba (the hosts) are very caring and are always there to support you. Doesn't matter if it's fixing a leaking faucet or giving you a shoulder to cry on :) If you are looking for a hotel-like service and an aircon, don't bother, this place is not for you. If you are soul-searching, looking for new experiences, connections, collaborations... If you are coming with an open mind and open heart, I can promise you will fall in love with Vivarium! <3

I absolutely loved my stay at Vivarium! The host is extremely kind and welcoming. The house is very clean, and the co-working office space that you get access to is nice and plush. Valencia is a wonderful city to explore and very easy to get into a routine. There are family dinners and skill-sharing lessons each week, which helps with building a community, but there isn't a surplus of over-social activities at any given time, which makes Vivarium a very comfortable place to spend a large amount of time and not feel overwhelmed. When you come to Vivarium, expect to relax and take in the peaceful lifestyle that this co-living and Valencia have to offer. If you're a full digital nomad, I recommend staying at this co-living after a super-social co-living. It will give you a nice transition, allow you to get the awesome experience of co-living, and also restore your energy.

I stayed in this beautiful place for 3 months, it is very comfortable and it attracts a lot of open minded people to connect to whenever you want. Would definitely recommend this place if you are working abroad and want to do so in a comfortable and local fashion.

I have just left Vivarium after living there for almost 3 months. It was an experience I'll never forget - the amazing people, "family dinners", and all of the wonderful shared experiences... It's the perfect base for experiencing the magical city of Valencia. I miss you all already!

My time at Vivarium during the summer of 2022 was nothing short of spectacular. I felt that I was a part of a family, community, city, and had a home in such a short time. It was a great balance between allowing me to have time to myself if I needed it- and time with other people who were all unique in their own way if I needed that. There was also a lot of respect in the house around space, personal items, and shared responsibility of keeping it clean and just overall i nice place to live. Vivarium is the perfect hub for any traveler who wants to experience a great community and feel at home while in Spain. It's located in one of the most attractive areas of Valencia, close to everything you'll want to visit. I spent 2 months there in summer and loved the whole experience. Absolutely recommend staying here. I stayed at Vivarium for 6 weeks and enjoyed every single moment. Since it is a co-living, it is designed for people who have serious jobs but at the same time like to have fun. This mix was reflected in the culture of the house perfectly. I stayed at Vivarium for 3 months, in early 2022. I had a fantastic time! By the time I left I really felt like I had a little family there, and it was hard to leave. If I didn't have to leave due to my visa ending, I don't think I would have! Pablo, Barbara, and Mar really make you feel welcome and heard. The co-livers were all lovely, kind people who became real friends. They even had a going away party for me, pic attached! We did stuff together pretty frequently. It was nice to basically walk into a built-in community. The rooms are nice, and a housekeeper (Dina, super sweet woman) comes twice a week to clean the house so no worries about changing sheets or sweeping or anything. The rooms next to the street can be a little loud because of the street noise but it didn't really bother me after the first couple nights. Valencia is a great, fun city that's still small enough that you can walk or bike just about everywhere you want to go. Vivarium is located close to both Ruzafa and the Old City, which are the two most happening districts. And there's two grocery stores and two gyms on the same block as the co-living, so you could basically never leave the block if you didn't want to. The Wayco co-working is close by too, and it's a nice spot. I prefer to work from an office, so it was nice that the co-working was right there. This has become a pretty long review, so I'll just wrap it up by saying Vivarium is awesome, Valencia is awesome, I had a wonderful 3 months there, and if you're looking for somewhere to live in Valencia, I think you'll have a great time at Vivarium too.

I found in vivarium a really cool and inspiring place. I spent amazing weeks there as a coliver, i met incredible people from different countries, different areas and i had the chance to live the most local life in one of the best cities in the world to live. The apartment is incredible (the floor, the ceiling are mesmerizing) with the right amount of people to live with (10 people max) where you get connected to them easily, enjoy cool activities organized by the host and at the same time you feel at home. in the coworking place (wayco) all the requirements of a remote worker are met with private rooms for calls, big quiet rooms and a coffee restaurant. There is one right in the corner and other 25 min by walk from the coliving. Definitely recommend it. The best experience for sure <3

I was lucky enough to be one of the first participants in the Vivarium experience, and I can't recommend it enough. If I had to sum it up in one sentence, it's that from the first day I felt at home. The space is truly cozy and spacious, beautifully decorated, and located in one of the best areas of Valencia. You can also go to work at WayCo, arguably the best coworking space in Valencia, by taking a pleasant walk through the city center. The team behind the project is wonderful, always concerned with making your experience as satisfying as possible. We made great plans and shared many interesting conversations and laughs. The other co-living partners I met also had a fantastic experience. In short, I highly recommend it. I doubt there's a better coliving option in Valencia.

A fantastic and focused experience in coliving. During my stay, I had the opportunity to meet many interesting people who were also staying there, thanks to events organized by the hosts, who always provided excellent service. I highly recommend it.

A really beautiful coliving space (I love the floors!). Importantly, each room has its own bathroom (unlike your typical hostel). And the Vivarium team is super friendly, always attentive to everything!
