Best surf camp experience in Taghazout! I’ve booked this place twice already, and will book again! They have one of the best locations (direct access to the beach) and the camp itself is adjusted based on what the group wants. We got to go to Imsouane and Paradise Valley, where we saw goats in Argan trees and went sand surfing and cliff diving. For surf itself we were transported to Anza daily where the waves were perfect for both beginners and advanced. Boris, Chloe, Omar, Rabab are all incredible staff members, the food alone is reason enough to choose Teddy for your stay! All the meals are home made and are nutritious. It feels like a true retreat. Yoga during the mornings/sunset and campfires at night! The vibes of the dorm group is always so fun - everyone mingling and supporting one another throughout the days. We even got the entire dorm to go to the beach club one night which was so fun! You’ll meet lifelong friends here and will advance your surfing skills - we are all planning to make this an annual trip!! Shoutout to Ilyas, Ayoub, and Zakaria for being incredible surf instructors!!! Teddy Pirate forever ❤️

If you want to experience beautiful sunsets from the rooftop, yoga sessions in the morning with a view of the ocean, surf lessons lead by two of the best surf instructors that always brings a good vibe and excitement, amazing food every day with candle lights in the evening, and new lifelong connections…come to Teddy Pirate 🥹 I also really appreciated the hostels chill energy combined with structured planning (they have their own cars which brings a lot of freedom when going to surf lessons or incredible day trips 🛻). Things were always solved in the best way possible thanks to good communication! I will always remember my stay at Teddy Pirate with a big smile🧸🏴‍☠️ I will be back!

I slept in the girls' room, which was small but had handy drawers under the bed for storing all your belongings. The place is constantly cleaned. Delicious food, amazing views, and great vibes! Amazing surfing experience and wonderful organized excursions. See you soon!

We had a fantastic stay at Teddy Pirate. The surf lessons were amazing thanks to the best teachers Ayoub and Yacine. We surfed every day and changed spots depending on the weather. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the meals are delicious. The atmosphere is great! We can’t wait to come back!!

I stayed at the surf camp for 10 days and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The staff, the host, the surf instructors, and all the other residents gave me a super warm welcome. The accommodation itself is really cute, but the surf camp is what I especially recommend. You get excellent surf lessons for all levels, from beginners to pros. The food at the hostel is very good; there's a small breakfast, a light lunch, and in the evenings, everyone eats together as a surf camp, which creates a great atmosphere. I'm incredibly impressed and so grateful for my stay and will definitely be back.

I took the full surf & yoga package at Teddy Pirate (including meals and activities), and honestly… the vibe is indescribable. You have to experience it to truly get it. The staff is amazing : warm, welcoming, and super flexible. Surf times and activities are adapted to the group’s wishes, which makes everything feel relaxed and personal. The surf instructors are always smiling, patient, and really supportive. Breakfast is generous (almost too generous before surfing 😂): eggs, avocado, fruits, cake, crêpes with spreads, cheese, olives, fresh orange juice, tea / coffee — sweet and savory options to fuel your session. Omar’s cooking was incredible : something different every day, lunch at the beach or at home, dinner always with dessert, and drinks included. It’s also family-friendly (we met two families having a great time). The dorms aren’t huge but more than enough (and you barely spend time there anyway). Beds are made daily, and the panoramic terrace with a direct sea view is just wow. A special thanks to Elisa, the yoga teacher, who created such beautiful energy and connection within the group from day one. Perfect central location, chill check-in / check-out , and lots of returning guests — which says everything. I would definitely go back.

This surfcamp truly felt like a home away from home. The view alone is worth the stay, hands down the best sunset spot I’ve experienced, absolutely magical every evening. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for a real getaway from everyday life. The food was another highlight. Chef Omar’s delicious homecooked dinners brought everyone together and felt like comfort food made with love. Mornings started perfectly with generous, tasty breakfasts prepared by the aunties, always served with smiles and warmth. The staff make you feel like family, the common areas invite you to slow down and connect, and the whole place has a special, peaceful energy. Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, this hostel is the perfect escape, a place where you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like you belong. Honestly, the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. I still don’t understand how it’s even possible to keep a surfcamp this clean with so many people around, but somehow they absolutely nailed it!!! The place is straight-up idyllic, with the best view over Taghazout and the ocean. If falling asleep to the sound of waves is your thing (and it should be), this is the spot. + It’s a proper community experience, you feel at home the second you walk through the door, and you meet people you definitely won’t forget. Huge thanks to Boris, the owner, who is quite possibly the chillest human on Earth and a serious Black Coffee fan. And finally, thanks to life itself for putting me on the path to this experience.

I stayed at this surf house in Taghazout while traveling alone and had a great time. The vibe was great, and the owner and staff were really friendly and organized, both for the breakfast (complete and very good) and for van transportation and activities. Mine was a surfing vacation, and that's exactly what it was: I improved a lot because we surfed every day, often changing spots based on the conditions. The instructors were fantastic, knowledgeable, and helpful. Of course, all transportation was included, and above all, the dinners were truly delicious. The house is very clean, well-kept, and located right in the center of Taghazout with a terrace overlooking the sea. I stayed for more than 10 days; lots of different people passed through, but the atmosphere was always open and positive. Recommended if you're traveling alone or in a group and want to improve your surfing.

We did a few days at Teddy Pirate Surf Camp. The surf instructor and the owner are so nice. They provide us brand new wetsuits, surfboards, and drive us at the best surf spots every day. Before the day at surfing, we had a wonderful breakfast on the patio in front of the ocean. The room is the best I had in my lifetime ! Super clean, wonderful deco. The location is perfect, right on beach, in front of the ocean. All is perfect. Thank you so much !

I had such a wonderful week at the surf camp - everything was so warm, loving and family-like. The best part was falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the waves- and that gorgeous view from the terrace.

TeddyPirate is the perfect Surfcamp to practice surfing at different levels, living the ocean like a pirate while going back to a comfortable, homely hostel. The owner, Boris, is extremely helpful and accommodating, the staff is always bringing a smile to breakfast and dinner, and the surf instructors support you in improving your surfing skills. This surfcamp has an incredible terrace on the ocean front, where you can enjoy homely made and delicious food, do yoga, or simply chill with the other guests. The house and bedrooms are cleaned daily, making the hostel comfortable and a great place to go back after a day full of surfing. It is the perfect place to meet new people and relax, I can’t wait to come back!

The location of the hostel is great, as is the decor. They serve a good breakfast; I recommend trying Amlou 😉 It's also really nice to fall asleep to the sound of the sea. However, it could use a bit more "loving." For example, the blankets on the balcony furniture are dirty, and there's no place to hang wet towels in the room. Guests come and go, and we didn't notice much of a sense of community. It's more of a mass business than I expected. The hostel employs three Moroccan ladies and a volunteer who take care of breakfast and guests. The ladies also clean, although our room of five nights was only cleaned on the last day; our towels were never changed or the beds made in five days. The hamman was out of service. The two shared bathrooms are shared between two dorms and one triple room, so you do have to wait. Overall, the accommodation seems overpriced to me. Solo travelers in the dorm may have different needs and assess the accommodation differently, and of course, you're paying for the prime location. I find it odd that upon arrival, you're warned that the resident dog bites (sorry, but a vicious dog has no place in a guesthouse). Ultimately, the dog doesn't bite at all, but it doesn't like being touched. Surf courses are rather poorly organized; you wait for transport to the beach. At lunch, no one asks if you like fish, for example, and you just order it. While you're nudged to get in front of the wave, you're not really corrected. That's a shame, since many people come here specifically to improve their skills. The price-performance ratio doesn't meet our needs.

We stayed in the King Lounge at Teddy Pirate Taghazout and it completely blew us away. Waking up every morning to the sound of the ocean and that stunning view was just perfect. The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The food was simply the best we had in Taghazout – always fresh, full of flavor, and made with real care. The surf classes were fun, relaxed, yet professional. The trips to Paradise Valley and Imsouane were absolute highlights with beautiful scenery and great energy. We met amazing people, shared laughs, stories and plenty of waves. And Boris, the host, is simply outstanding – genuine, caring, and knows how to make people feel at home. Thanks to this place, we truly fell in love with Morocco. We’ll definitely be back.

Wonderful surf camp! I did the surf package and stayed for a week. It’s a great deal includes all your meals, yoga, surf and excursions. The food is fantastic especially the traditional Moroccan dinners and Italian coffee. All the staff are so kind, the house is very clean and Boris is ready to help with anything you need. I came alone and easily made many friends to enjoy my vacation with. The location is one of the best in Taghazout. It’s right on the beach with multiple terraces to chill and enjoy the sunset. Would highly recommend!

What makes it unique is amazing atmosphere, great surf lessons, owner who makes you feel like at home and people I met there. This was second time I surfed in my life and I loved surf lessons special mention for Ayoub who is a great surfing teacher but also helped me to get over fear in the beginning. Incredible experience at Teddy Pirate. We were a group of eight people who spent three nights there. In addition to our accommodation, we booked meals, surf lessons, and sandboarding lessons. The hostel is amazing, very clean, right in the heart of town and next to the beach. The terrace is spectacular; I could spend the whole day there. Boris was very kind to us and took some incredible photos during the activities we did. The surf and activity instructors were also very friendly and attentive. Finally, a special mention to the cooks. Absolutely everything we ate was incredible. We're looking for return flights so we can go back soon, we were so thrilled with our stay.

This hostel is truly amazing, it feels just like home and has a cozy human-scale atmosphere. Starting each day with breakfast on the rooftop is unforgettable, fresh orange juice, tea, Italian espresso, eggs, everything is delicious. The location could not be better, just a minute from all the surf shops and rentals, and only two minutes from Panorama Beach. The dorm room is great, and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean is incredibly relaxing. I also really appreciated the laundry service, you simply drop off your clothes and get them back clean the next day for 5 euros. The surf experience offered by the hostel is really good for beginners, with small group lessons of 2 to 4 people for 30 euros. For intermediate surfers, one class can be useful, and afterward, you can rent board and suit all day nearby for just 8 euros. All in all, I really hope I will get the chance to come back !

If you are looking for the best surf camp in Morocco, Teddy Pirate is your place. I spent 5 days here with some friends and we booked the surf and yoga package. It was an amazing experience!! Boris, the owner, went above and beyond in organizing everything perfectly and always made sure we had everything we needed. The surf instructors are amazing too! I am a beginner level and they helped me surf my first waves. They also take you to different beaches everyday based on where there are the best waves. I felt like everything was organized for us to have the best experience possible. The hostel is the cleanest I’ve visited (and I stayed in many!) we stayed in the shared dorm and the beds were super comfy and everything in the house is very clean. The place is also in a great location: right in the center of the town, facing the beach! The other thing that set Teddy Pirate apart is the food. Rabab and her team cooked for us delicious Moroccan food everyday. Overall, we had a blast. And I will go back for sure and I have already recommended Teddy Pirate to all my friends.

I had such a wonderful stay at the Teddy Pirate! I stayed in the dorm rooms, which were not only spotlessly clean but also aesthetically pleasing. The large doors that opened up to an ocean view added a lot of natural light and a cozy vibe. The bathrooms were also well-maintained and tidy. The rooftop was definitely the highlight — a perfect spot to relax and feel at home. The ladies working there were fantastic, always cheerful and full of laughter. They also prepared an incredible breakfast every morning. One evening, a group of us decided to splurge a little for a home-cooked dinner, and it was absolutely perfect — I highly recommend it! All in all, the Teddy Pirate truly felt like a home away from home.

This is easily stated as one of the best hostels in the world. It is beautifully crafted but not pretentious in any way. The staff and cooks are incredibly kind, warm and each meal is amazing. I was lucky enough to just stumble upon it while walking through the town and was taken in. Incredibly grateful for the hospitality and energy this place carries. If you do yoga it’s a great option on the roof deck and they have matts to use. If you’re tall like me the bunk beds are long enough and the bathrooms, communal space are very elegant. It’s also very quiet for being so close to town. The sound and view of the ocean is worth it in itself.

Fantastic experience, very central location, and a property with meticulous attention to detail. The Italian owner, Boris, was incredibly helpful with anything we needed. One of the most beautiful things is the view from the terrace, overlooking the sea. Breakfast was truly exceptional, with a wide selection of fresh and delicious products. Teddy Pirate perfectly met my expectations. The rooms are clean, and you get to wake up with the sound of the waves. Each morning, you can discuss with the owner whether you want to surf or go on a day trip, and they will organize it based on how many people are interested in the same activity. The owners are very accommodating and responsive to any requests. I would like to extend special thanks to Karim and Faissal for providing surf classes and helping me improve my skills. Also, the two baby cats are super cute :)

The best hostel I've ever stayed in! The rooms are beautiful, tidy, and clean. The showers and toilets are very modern and, most importantly, spotless! And the people are just so friendly! They truly leave nothing to be desired. And the location is perfect. The view from both the rooms and the beautiful rooftop terrace is enchanting and invites you to linger. Adjoining the rooftop terrace is an open-plan living area with a large, modern, and well-equipped kitchen. Here you'll find everything you need and then some. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

A magic place in front of the ocean. Falling asleep with the waves sound, admiring silent sunrises and burning sunsets from the roof are priceless. Furthermore, the breakfast is amazing: typical fresh food from the market cooked by very talented Moroccan cooks. The house is very clean, everything is new and you can appreciate the search for details. A fast wifi connection covers the entire house. Well-located and beautifully decorated. This hotel is spot on. The photos are true to life! King room: stunning view, nice bathroom, spacious room. Good breakfast: varied and freshly prepared. Central location in the village, close to restaurants. The only downside, but the hotel can't control that, was the enormous noise from the beach until around 3:00 AM (screaming children, music, drummers). This made for a very poor night's sleep, but that's not the hotel's fault.

A very nice, well-maintained, and very clean hostel. The entire team is incredibly welcoming and friendly, ensuring you have a wonderful stay. A truly fantastic team. Since the hostel is located right on the beach, the view of Taghazout beach is magnificent. Settle into an armchair at the bar or, even better, a chair on the rooftop terrace and watch the fishermen and vacationers come and go. If you'd like to surf, boards are available, and they'll direct you to the best spot based on your skill level. We stayed just one night in the triple room next to reception, and it was fine. It wasn't very spacious with our large suitcases, but it was adequate for one or two nights. The breakfast was varied and included authentic Italian coffee, just like the owner. If you have a car, there's a small parking lot next door, which fills up quickly. Ask the attendant to save you a space as soon as one becomes available, if needed. We will definitely return on our next visit to Taghazout.

Superbly located, right across from the beach, you can see the sea from the rooms. The staff is very attentive and helpful. You can go to Agadir and back for €2 by shared taxi. Restaurants and markets are right next to the hotel, and there are plenty of opportunities for surfing, camel riding, and other excursions. Definitely the best hotel in Taghazout, considering the value for money. Excellent!

If I could give negative stars I would. Never have I received such rude treatment from staff in all my life. Gave us the wrong room and proceeded to scream and call us liars when we simply asked to have compensation for their error. If you’re looking for a nice, relaxed place to stay on the coast with friendly people, this is NOT your place. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Had a great (though brief) stay at Teddy Pirate. Basically the co-living space met my expectations from the picatures and description. The location is amazing. The ocean view from the rooms is amazing. Falling asleep to the sound of waves is amazing. The roof top terrasse is so cozy and people gathered there every night which created a great vibe. Bonus Boris could bring beer/wine from Agadir, as not hotels/hostels provide that in Taghazout apart from Munga bar and a few other restaurants that closes early. Room and beds were nice and clean. I would have liked if they had facilitated more activities like excursions or social dinners, but that would just be an extra bonus. Definitely recommenable.

I have been travelling to Morocco every year since 2010, and this was my best trip to the Teddy Pirate guesthouse thanks to the warm welcome from Rabab and Boris. I knew that this place was going to be special based on the pictures and reviews but it really exceeded our expectations . The atmosphere is truly welcoming and you feel like at home. My husband and I were traveling with my sister and three kids (13, 13 and 10) and we all loved it. The kings lounge room is soooo beautiful, better than in the pics I probably can’t say enough good things about this place: The location is unbeatable, the place is really really clean, the food is sooo good, we had breakfast almost every morning in the terrace and dinner in the house one night. We even had the Hammam experience with Rabab and it was sooo peaceful (according to my 10 year old) she exfoliates us and rubbed all these natural potions on us, we went in pairs, it was really such a cool experience. In the terrace you can meet other travelers and there was a really good vibe. Thank you Teddy Pirate for a great stay in Taghazout

This was one of the nicest properties I have stayed at in my life, which is saying something given it is technically a hostel. We stayed in the King Suite and the design of the room and the view are top notch. Also Boris, the owner, is terrific and will make sure you have a great experience. The host and staff are sweethearts, they took me on a surf trip to Imsouane where we spent the whole day surfing, laughing and sharing a finger-licking chicken bbq. It was such a delight.
