Coliving and Surfing - Your Coworking & Coliving in Corralejo (Fuerteventura, Canary Island)

For me, it wasn't the ideal place. Despite the booths, the rooms were unfortunately too noisy for calls. The booths aren't ventilated at all when closed, so they quickly become stuffy. Due to the beautiful but very exposed location, the wind whistles loudly through the rooms. There were other disturbing noises (a hairdryer in the bathroom, doors that don't close quietly, voices audible from the booths or the conference room). I received no refund for days I had already paid for, even after explaining that the offer didn't meet my expectations. Otherwise, there were many positive aspects, such as a large, clean kitchen, access to the pool, various workspaces, and friendly staff.

A huge thank you to the entire coworking team for the impeccable welcome and, above all, a special thanks to H-FARM, which during the event week turned every break into a pleasant moment of discussion and genuine sharing. Friendly, helpful, enthusiastic people: truly a positive experience in every human and professional aspect. However, I would like to point out a concrete issue concerning the Wi-Fi network. In a coworking space you expect a connection that allows you to work calmly, without unnecessary risks. Here, however, I found several clear shortcomings that deserve attention: 1. The network is open, so part of the traffic can be visible to anyone nearby. 2. The device‑recognition system is not very robust and can be easily spoofed by someone with minimal skills. 3. All users are on the same network, which opens the door to unwanted interactions between devices. 4. The MAC address is personal data, and an unprotected network makes it harder to stay compliant with GDPR. 5. There is a risk of accepting fake certificates (SSL injection): a distracted click on a browser warning can make even a supposedly protected connection insecure. PRACTICAL MITIGATION: USE A CORPORATE VPN A simple and effective way to work more securely is to use a corporate VPN. It’s important to clarify: 1. It must be a VPN provided and managed by your own company, therefore controlled and trustworthy; 2. I am not talking about commercial services such as NordVPN or other third‑party products: they are not designed to protect professional data and do not offer the necessary level of guarantees; using them merely shifts trust from an insecure local network to an external and unsecure service whose procedures and standards you don’t know. A corporate VPN, on the other hand, encrypts all traffic and routes it to the organization’s infrastructure. This significantly reduces what can be intercepted on the coworking network and helps better protect both information and regulatory compliance. --- Overall, the experience in the coworking space was very positive thanks to the people and the atmosphere. Improving the Wi‑Fi network would bring the service fully up to the quality of the rest of the environment.

The facilities are also excellent: well-equipped workspace, reliable internet, and everything you need to stay focused and comfortable. I really enjoyed the mix of community, vibe, time for myself, and a quiet work environment. The team is super friendly and helpful, and there are always different activities to join if you feel like it. The workspace is very inviting. The call pods were small but absolutely fine for one-on-one coaching sessions for a few hours. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and clean, though unfortunately quite noisy/poorly insulated. That would be my only downside. All in all: it was a very enjoyable and well-balanced stay ☀️

Wow, it was a fantastic experience! I didn't stay overnight, just used the coworking space. But I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Thanks, Ioana and Kat, for your dedicated and incredibly friendly support. You create a great atmosphere and keep the community together, at least for those who want to be involved. There are some really great things on offer, but you can also choose to stay out of everything. Everything you need for working is provided, plus there's a very large kitchen with a lounge area and a terrace. All with a sea view. And on top of all that, I was also able to use the hotel pool. I was truly impressed and met many lovely people from all sorts of different countries. I'll definitely be back!

The coworking space is perfect for remote work and socializing with others on the island. It is well equipped with new technology and also the kitchen is huge. For me, it was important to connect with others, so I joined some of the activities, but there is always a lot organized. Would recommend! Already came the second time now and will probably return!!

My 3 weeks here were truly fantastic! The working space and kitchen were really great and I had everything I needed to crack on with my work. The only problem I encountered is that most of the time I would much rather be on the beach. Ioana and Kat did an amazing job of making me feel welcome in the community from the first day. I especially appreciate all of the effort Ioana puts into organising different activities on every day of the week. Morning yoga, salsa lessons, beach days, wine tasting etc. there is something for everyone. Highly recommended for anyone who is considering the Canary Islands and is looking to meet some friendly, like-minded people along the way.

It was a great time! Very close to the ocean, the hotel is clean and the rooms convenient. When it was too windy to be at the beach (in february), we spent the time at the pool, which due to its location is a quite protected from the wind! Only thing to take into account is they don't give you towels for the beach or pool, so you have to buy your own at a kiosk or bring your own from home. The kitchen and co-working option was very convenient and easy to work from. And all the staff members are very nice and kind :)

My stay here was simply fantastic! The balance between productive work and social interaction was perfect. Thanks to the excellent organization, I was able to fully focus on my work while also meeting inspiring new people. The co-working space is well-equipped – fast WiFi, modern work areas, and quiet spaces for focused work or calls. I especially appreciated the pleasant atmosphere, where you can either work in peace or actively engage with the community. The co-living experience was just as impressive. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the shared spaces – especially the large, well-equipped kitchen – invite you to cook together and enjoy social evenings. The regular events, from networking sessions to leisure activities like hiking or wine tasting, make the stay even more special. A huge shout-out to Ioana and Kat, who put so much passion into making everyone feel at home. I will definitely be back!

With fast Wi-Fi, comfortable workstations, and a friendly community, the coworking space provides an excellent atmosphere for productivity. The area is thoughtfully designed, kept clean, and offers all essential amenities such as coffee and conference rooms.

I loved my stay at Surfing Colors! I spent three weeks there, and can't wait to be back. The staff is lovely, the kitchen is huge and comfortable, and the coworking is a great place to get work done and meet people easily through activities. Will definitely go back! Do note that the surfing classes are not really organized through the hotel - I organized it myself through another school as the cooperation between the hotel and the surf school is not really active anymore!

I stayed at Surfing Colors for nearly a month and had an incredible experience. It's the perfect place for a workation, offering a very central location, ocean views, great facilities (well-equipped kitchen, screens in the coworking, a pool), and a vibrant, active community. There's always something happening at the coliving, like talks, masterminds, meetups, and sports activities. If you're traveling solo, you'll quickly find companions. I’m definitely coming back for another workation!

An excellent coworking space offering affordable accommodation. Throughout the week, we participated in activities that strengthened our connections with the community. There's a great atmosphere, thanks in large part to the efforts of the community manager, Raquel, who made us feel right at home. The space includes meeting rooms and an open-plan area where the community guidelines ensure a peaceful working environment. You can also enjoy the sea view and sunshine. The setting is perfect. A wonderful place to work and live, in a beautiful hotel in a central location. Ricky, Ari, and Diego put their heart and soul into it and organize great events for the coworking community.

A wonderful co-working experience. Let me start by saying that the atmosphere of this place is truly wonderful. The rooms, the co-working space, and the pool area are truly well-kept. The rooms are truly beautiful, comfortable, with private bathrooms and small balconies. The co-working space is truly beautiful, with a very comfortable indoor area and an outdoor area with a beautiful view. There's also a fully equipped kitchen for those who want to cook their own lunch and dinner. Breakfast is always super generous (buffet style) with a truly endless variety. The location is also perfect. It's literally in the center of Corralejo, with everything nearby, from supermarkets to places to eat, drink, and dance, and the beaches are also nearby. You really couldn't ask for more!

If you're looking for a space to work with a strong wifi, access to secluded parlors and a meeting room the coworking space is for you. The kitchen area to chat, meet people, cook and eat is pretty much outstanding, to be honest I've lived in pretty high standard places, and their kitchen is clearly up to par. I have met amazing people during the regular events, such as yoga, pizza nights, paella and Tuesday talks, vegan breakfasts, hypnosis and meditation sessions, etc. we created new friendships together. Introverts you'll feel at home as well as the extroverts. I was not living in the coliving rooms and apartments so I can't say about this part. Want a downside because i know some people don't trust If it's all sunshine? Here we go. The booths are great, if you have a call or 2, or a conference. As a therapist it happened that I spent 6 hours block in there... Well it does get a bit warm and you're happy to get out of them. And a last thing, I'm super grateful for the whole team, from reception to the coliving and coms team. Helpful, kind, gentle, friendly, welcoming, and as I've been living in fuerteventura for 6 months, felt like a little family out there. Enjoy your stay... 🙏

I made tons of friends during the coliving events - yoga, ice baths, exploring or just eating paella. I really enjoyed my days in the hotel and Cowork space. It doesn't mind if you are travelling alone there are plenty of activities to do and a big community. I really liked the salsa and bachata free lessons in the hotel! The breakfast in the buffet was really good and with many options, also with local products! I can't wait to be back!

I stayed at Surfing Colors for over a month and worked in the coworking space... it was like coming home. I got on really well with Tanja, Diego, and also Giulia, who arrived later. It was like having a family away from home. It was great to work, having coffee during work breaks, chatting with everyone, and enjoying all the activities the coworking managers organized for us... aperitifs together in the kitchen, meditations, a party on the catamaran...
