Super house with all the amenities (also great for remote work) and within walking distance to kiteboarding, absolutely perfect! Darren is also very friendly and helpful, he even arranged my permits for Cederberg! All in all, highly recommended for a comfortable, spacious, and clean coliving in Blouberg. Enjoy!

I had an amazing stay here! I was doing a worcation trip and this place offered everything for it. The rooms are very spacious, very clean and with great features. You get a big common area downstairs with a big kitchen, and you have a separate work room with desks, chairs and screens. Wifi worked great all the time. The atmosphere is super relaxed, and all the guests I've met were very considerate. The place is in walking distance to the beach, the shops, restaurants & bars, and it's overall very safe. What made the place great for me personally was the amenities around the rooms/ co-working spaces. You get an outdoor gym with weights, benches and everything you need, you get a hot tub (which was great during the spring time here), and a Cabana with Plugs and Wifi reaching until there. Being able to build a routine away from home around that was great. So all in all, I'll definitely be back and can recommend this place for everyone looking for a place to work and enjoy life!

Very much enjoyed my stay in Boardrooms for kitesurfing, working and living. Perfect location very close to the kite and surf beaches in Blouberg. The owner is very friendly and helps us with all challenges, especially if it comes to finding the best kitesspots around. Facilities are very generous and clean with perfect infrastructure. Well equiped office and kitchen. Will come back for sure :)

This place was perfect to find a quiet place to work remotely / study and enjoy my time going to the beach or surfing. It’s a 5-room commune with a large living room and kitchen, very clean (a cleaner comes once or twice a week) and well decorated. The owner and his son also live there and are very helpful and friendly. This house is located in Bloueberg, a City in the North of Cape Town. It’s 10 min walking and 3 min driving to the beach. It’s 30 minutes driving to the center of Cape Town. I would recommend this house.

Stayed here for a month doing the 'regular' kitesurfing and some remote working. - stable fast Internet connection (also during loadshedding) and proper desks and office chairs. - tidy clean communal area and weekly cleaning of room. - Good own rooms with all rooms having private bathroom amenities. - not as crowded as other places in the area. Not saying these places are bad if you need some rest and actual working going on, then this might be better instead of always having parties around. - while still located in the same street and/or area as these places. So you can walk there even at night (considering walking around in SA is not always smart). The area is generally very safe. You can also just walk to the beach with your kite gear. - helpfull owner. Theres still other people around to talk to and go kiting with but if you are looking for a large crowd in your place to always have parties with, maybe consider something different. The place probably will expand so there will be more souls but since it is just a tad more luxurious it might be different than the other big lodges.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at boardrooms for 3 months during the summer season and I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only is everything you need at the premises (think a private bathroom, spacious garden, well-equipped kitchen, co-living space, parking, and internet during loadshedding), the hosts are some of the most welcoming people I have ever met. With impeccable knowledge of the area, a great sense of humour and passion for surfing/kitesurfing, Darren & Lynda and Alex & Jakki make your stay worth its while. Five out of five, I'll be back here for sure.

We stayed here for almost two months and liked it! I wish we booked earlier to get a bigger bedroom as we were 2 people but nevertheless it had all the necessary amenities and private bathroom. The common area is spacious and comfortable: kitchen is well equipped and has a good storage capacity for all the guests, a separate coworking space with internet is a huge benefit for those who work remotely, there’s plenty of room to chill, exercise and enjoy the sun when you are not kiting/surfing. Kite storage facility & parking on the premises is there if needed and makes it easy to pack/unpack after the ocean session. Darren (the owner) is very responsive to feedback and is going extra mile to make everyone feel comfortable. The area felt very safe, a short walk away from the beach, cafes, laundry and other things in Blouberg.

I stayed at Boardrooms for the month of August 2022. I cannot recommend this accommodation enough -- it's very central to downtown Bloubergstrand and the beautiful beach; the hosts are extremely helpful and lovely. The place is kept immaculate and the bedrooms are very comfortable. Consistent hot water in the shower and an excellent internet connection even during loadshedding; they're well prepared. I used the workspace every week day and it was perfect for my online job. I can see it as a surf/kite haven but it works just as well for someone who wants somewhere comfortable and reliable to work during the day, easy and safe to go out during the night. 10/10 would recommend!

This is the BEST place to stay in Blouberg- facilities are top notch, and hosts Alex and Darren are amazing 🤩 I even got to kitesurf with them and raised my kitesurf game. Great fun people, great crowd, work space is incredible with the right vibe - not a crazy party place, more get work done - then go kite, adventure or explore. Well set up for kiting, kit storage, keypad access to get in so you can walk to the beach and get back in no worries- they have thought of everything!

I spent 6 weeks at Darren´s coworking space. It´s brand new, the internet is lightning fast compared to other places in that area, and I found it a very pleasant and friendly place to work. I didn´t stay at in one of the rooms but had a look at them with the next season in mind. They are very stylish with a brand new ensuite bathroom each, double glasing windows, insulated roof etc. so they don´t get hot in summer, and I definitively consider staying there next time I´m in the area.

Ein super Platz zum Arbeiten. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, neben einem bequemen, ruhigen Platz zum Arbeiten auch eine Couch zum Entspannen, ein Außenbereich und eine top eingerichetete Küche. Alles ist sehr neu, hochwertig und mit Geschmack eingerichet. Internetverbindung ist stabil und sehr schnell. Auch die Atmoshpäre ist super und Darren sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Wenn man will kann man hier auch übernachten.

Ich war mehrere Wochen zum Kitesurfen in Cape Town (Blouberg) und brauchte einen Ort zum Arbeiten ...neben dem Kitesurfen ;) . Der Co-Working Space von Darren war super! Sehr neu, sauber & aufgeräumt und vor allem - schnelles Internet! (aktuell 20Mbit up/down). Jede Menge Platz, Stromanschlüsse und eine mega große Küche (Wasserkocher etc.), sowie Plätze zum draußen sitzen. Das ganze ist weniger ein typischer Office-Desk Share,- eher ein sehr gemütlicher, moderner Platz zum Arbeiten. Ich kann es sehr empfehlen! EN: Long story short... fast internet (20Mbit up/down), very modern! Nice place to work beside the surfing ...btw. also a nice place to stay.
