I spent 1 month in Anceu Coliving, and it is one of the best experiences I ever had since I started traveling. Being in a community where you feel seen and respected was special. I love how they organize the activities we do together while you still have space and time for your work. The surrounding nature is just stunning. It is perfect to hiking, grounding, reconnecting and contemplating and meditating. I love how they organized the spaces. Whether you want to connect with others, focus on work, chill or be in nature, there are spaces for all of that. I highly recommend staying at Anceu Coliving.

My partner Carly and I had the BEST two months staying at Anceu. It's a really special but also very down to earth community. The site is like a rural paradise, with a swimming pool next to a forest, and a really well designed site that enables people to find their best space to work. Communal dinners are the highlight, which lead to bonding, jokes, dancing and wonderful memories. The community is very explicitly dog friendly, and they really mean it. They are not just 'dog tolerant', they celebrate dogs, accept all sorts of personalities, and work with you to make your dog feel comfortable and safe, and so much more. Our nervous rescue dog over a period of two months lived his best life. Finally, the founders - Agustin and Africa - are remarkable people, but also again down to earth and relatable. They establish the foundations at Anceu but also create the space for others to step into leadership roles and take space. It all feels very seamless but it is apparent that so much work, organisation and love goes into it. The organisation for cooking, food, expenses and communication is really well thought out and makes the experience that much enjoyable. We will be back for sure! Josh and Carly x

If I could give 6 stars, I would! This place is magical but it's not by accident. Agus and Afri are phenomenal hosts. I could tell when I clicked on the website that these folks are intentional. My time at Anceu was filled with meaningful connections to the other colivers, to the community, to nature and to myself. I've never experienced a coliving like this before and I'm going to boldly say it's the best one out there. A million thanks go to Africa, Agus, Se, and especially Rosa. Even with a language barrier, I felt incredibly loved by Rosa. I could ramble on but if you're considering booking Anceu, just do it.

I just spent an amazing 3,5 months here in Anceu. Perfect work environnement, plenty of places to choose from to set my desk, yet also able to choose a spot and spread my stuff on a dedicated desk. Very much appreciated. Plenty of places to relax too, with the pool, garden areas, chill house to do yoga or watch a film... I love how 5 evenings a week dinners are shared, and cooking teams so well organized. For someone like me who doesn't like cooking, having 5 meals a week taken care of is a bliss. Very good balance of quiet time and group activities, peaceful surroundings, nice historical towns nearby, surrounded by small mountains and the sea only half an hour away. What more to ask for ? But of course the best is the very chilled, happy, simple way this place is run by the owners and volunteers. The Anceu vide is definitely one I recommend !

The best decision I've ever made. Before I knew this place and this community, I didn't even know about this Coliving and Coworking concept. I came here with the intention of starting my Digital Nomad journey as a volunteer in Social Media Marketing, meaning to write articles and promote this place on social media networks and at the same time to travel and discover new worlds. But I discovered much more than that. It is more than traveling from one place to another while working. It's about building a network of people from all over the world who have common values. The key word that defines my experience is 'community'. We are all looking for and we need a place where we feel we belong and where we can contribute, but also to build and grow professionally. This concept is relatively new but in full expansion, because at the same time you have the stability of a place but also the novelty of experiences through people who come and live here for a few months and who in the meantime become your new family. Also, this place is in the middle of the nature, but still 30 minutes away from city and Atlantic Ocean. Not only just that, but the place have such amazing amenities, from very high speed internet and nicely equipped co-working spaces, incredibly beautiful rooms, to a coffee machine, laundry room, or swimming, at Anceu Coliving you will find more than you expect. Agustin and Africa, hosts of this place are kind and caring people. Dearly recommend this place.

Fantastic, but very remote Coliving, if that’s what you’re looking for, and to get away from the world (though still with very fast internet), this is the place for you. Friendly community that shares meals Monday to Friday, and arranges inclusive activities for everyone around. Unlike most colivings, there are several coworking spaces, which give you gray variety depending on how you’re feeling, and there’s a LOT of outdoor space for when the weather is cooperating!

Anceu co-living is so great that it's even hard to explain. It was my first co-living experience and I was already expecting something wonderful but this was absolutely incredible. Agustín, África & co. (volunteers, collaborators of all kinds and the co-livers!) have created a small paradise in Galicia. I remember how a co-liver said that "this is how life should be" and I couldn't agree more. I could even say that Anceu changed my life plans and now I'm looking for other co-livings, while at the same time I'm already looking forward to coming back.

Anceu Coliving set the bar very high. I can’t even imagine setting it any higher! No matter if you are at the beginning of your digital nomad journey or you are already at the expert level - you should definitely live this experience! We spent two incredible weeks at Anceu Coliving, and we had the opportunity to join a wonderful community and participate in many inspiring workshops. People were more than willing to share their knowledge from various fields. Apart from the great people that this coliving attracts, the place and the ambiance themselves are amazing - with the beautiful and wild outdoors at your fingertips. That place consists of typical Galician stone buildings situated on the edge of the forest, where you can find various spaces to work - a big room, a cosy space, a dining room, a corner by the fireplace. Also there are many coworking spaces in closed rooms, you can choose your favorite work spot near to nature. This coliving resort is remote from the city but, even though you don't have your own car (as was our case), almost every day someone goes to the nearby village. So if you need to be connected with the city it’s possible, and if you don't need it to you can dive deeply into nature and forget about the whole world.

Anceu Coliving is one of those places you're hesitant to tell others, because you love it so much and you want to keep it to yourself and your social circle. I visited Anceu Coliving with my husband and our dog during their soft opening month in July 2020. It was an unusually dry and sunny summer in Galicia. And for two weeks, we enjoyed ourselves immensely. It was our first rural coliving experience and we were blown away by the space, the community, and the beautiful natural surroundings. The accommodations were comfortable, cosy and charming. We loved cooking in the huge fully equipped kitchen, sharing recipes with others, and participating in cooking workshops organised by fellow colivers. There were plenty of coworking space options, indoors and outdoors. Sometimes I would work from a hammock under an oak tree in the forest or on a sunbed by the pool. I also enjoyed working in the dining room, close to the espresso machine 😂. They have an organic garden where they grow seasonal vegetables to share with the colivers. The local fishmonger comes by once or twice a week delivering fresh seafood in her van. The eggs are fresh and organic from their kind neighbours. A truly rural Spanish village kinda life! We especially loved that Anceu is surrounded with nature. In fact, the forest and river are minutes away by foot. We did some waterfall trekking, river bathing and hiking on the weekends. Our dog was in heaven (yes, they're pet-friendly)! Some of the colivers generously shared their skills during their stay: yoga and meditation classes, branding and marketing workshops, forest bathing, fitness trainings, tiramisu masterclass, cocktail class, etc. Never a dull moment. We enjoyed every second of our stay there and fell in love with the community vibe. Congratulations and thank you Agustín for doing such an amazing job with this beautiful project! We love it so much we're coming back this fall!

We have spent at Anceu the most incredible ten days! We had high expectations, but it was even better than expected: the place is fantastic (especially the pool when the weather is good), we had the opportunity of meeting new people, and we even worked a few hours per day. This is a magical community in the north-western part of Spain I never knew existed. Tucked away in the rural rolling hills of Galicia, I wake up each morning to the peacefulness of birds and fresh air. The history of the land was apparently constructed for a community in the 70's and revitalized by it's current owner/operator of Anceu Coliving. After being invited I had booked my flight from Canada within 48 hours. The residents keep high spirits and look out for each other. They are even sweet enough to speak English when I'm around.
