iSlow Coliving

Inés, Julio, and their children are friendly and welcoming hosts who do everything they can to make you feel at home. They are involved in their community, promoting culture and environmental protection, and bringing locals and guests together. The house is old and build into and onto a rock. It's nicely renovated. The rooms are very clean and tastefully decorated. The co-working space is well equipped and has fast Wi-Fi. The large kitchen is the meeting place of the house. Everything is well maintained and you feel very comfortable everywhere. The atmosphere is relaxed, everyone helps, cooks together, goes on trips together, but you can retreat at any time if you need privacy. Everything is possible, nothing is mandatory. The town of Laxe is a 2-minute drive away. A shared bicycle is also available. The beaches in the area are amazing! I enjoyed the beautiful, unspoiled nature, far away from the tourist crowds. A car is recommended, at least for the transfer to the airport (about 1 hour to A Coruña and Santiago) and to get to know the rest of Galicia. The roads are good and there was little traffic in the fall. I can highly recommend islow Coliving! Surfers, nature lovers, and workationers will probably feel most at home here. Party people and cosmopolitans might prefer other places in larger towns. The only minor drawback was the country road right in front of the house. However - all the rest is just perfect and I really enjoyed my workation in September. Thank you very much to Inés and Julio!

This summer my daughters participated in summer camp and it was a wonderful experience. They enjoyed activities like surfing, cooking, beach cleanups, and language exchanges. They made new friends, had a great time, and came back every day with a smile and a thousand stories to tell. A unique place to learn, enjoy, and grow. Thank you so much for making it possible! The iSlow team organized a fantastic rural summer camp for local children and families from out of town. It was a diverse, fun, and above all, linguistically enriching experience. A huge thank you to the whole team for your great work and for everything you contribute to our community!

iSlow is magical! My room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. There were beautiful common areas to interact with the community. Inez and Julio are welcoming hosts. I felt instantly at home. There was fresh bread delivered every morning as well as local eggs and oranges. Laxe is quaint with spectacular hiking and pristine beaches. My experience was so wonderful that I’m planning to return in May for the hiking retreat.

Everything about iSlow is a 5+ star experience. The attention to detail in the rooms and living spaces and the warmth that Julio, Ines, and Laura bring to the house make iSlow an incredibly special place. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome and 2 months later, it was hard to leave! If you are looking for a cozy, quiet retreat surrounded by some of the most beautiful natural areas in Europe, this is your spot! The team at iSlow go the extra distance to provide a culturally immersive and tranquil coliving experience. I can't wait to go back!

iSlow is such a beautiful place! Inés and Julio created an amazing space, I really enjoyed staying at iSlow for 1 month. It was really a home away from home - and I'll definitely come back :) The house is beautiful, with a big common area as well as cozy private rooms - allowing to enjoy the coliving as well as to find quiet e.g. for working. There is also a perfectly equipped coworking area. Best of all Inés, Julio and their kids bring Laxe / culture and tradition in the house :) I could participate in many events and workshops, meeting other travellers as well as local people. They really care about sustainability and sharing knowledge, I learned a lot. And the location is also great for surfing with Traba, Soesto or Malpica not too far away. I will not forget my surf session with dolphins :)

My stay at iSlow was incredible. Julio and Ines are amazing, the nature around there is so beautiful and the house is really well renovated and comfortable. I wish I'll be back soon again. :)

Fantastic Coliving place! Spent great 4 weeks at iSlow and can totally recommend it if you are looking for a social coliving. The house is absolutely beautiful and well thought out at the same time. Compared to other colivings, the kitchen is quite big with a great layout and can accommodate several people cooking at the same time. The dedicated coworking space features individual tables and screens what makes working there comfortably. There is an additional room for working where you can have calls, which you can also do outside if the weather is nice. There are a few surf spots around between 10 and 45 minutes drive by car and the coliving attracts other surfers as well. Ines and Julio have done an amazing job creating this place and make everyone feel at home. They also try to make sure there are always activities like a family dinner or workshop you can join. Overall it is was a great time, I met many inspiring people, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next year!

We lived and shared a space at iSlowcoliving for 15 days. It was a fantastic experience that we wholeheartedly recommend to any digital nomad or anyone considering a personal and/or professional life change to "start over" and reinvent themselves. iSlowcoliving is located in a beautifully restored old stone house steeped in history in Laxe (Costa da Morte, A Coruña). The house is perfectly equipped, offering ideal spaces for working and interacting, as well as for enjoying a privileged setting and disconnecting. Exquisite warmth and good taste are evident in every decorative and functional detail of the house. We will definitely be back very soon!

An amazing place to vacation/work while kids can play and join the local Laxe village summer camp! Owners/hosts Ines & Julio are the most gracious and generous hosts. We will be back again for sure!

I had a wonderful experience staying at ISlow. The hosts treat you like family and make sure you are comfortable. The rooms are gorgeous and the place is well organized for coliving and coworkimg. I didn’t rent a car but Julio and Ines took us on a couple day trips which were great and I walked into the village of Laxe almost everyday. It was a pleasure getting to know the other residents in the house. The scenery is stunning and so relaxing. It was like being transported to a safer, simpler time in history!

Best place to know Costa da Morte! The House is new, great and really confortable! Good for work and meet new people! Really close to beautiful places and Julio, Inés and family are the BEST hosts you can have. We felt Galicia at home. A really nice place to Enjoy the BEST of Galicia. We'll definetlly back!

iSlow is the perfect place for coworking, coliving, exploring and finding a home away from home. Ines and Julio are the most attentive, kind and welcoming hosts and give you a family, insightful information and tipps for the region. And the region is absolutely amazing. The only risk: you might not want to leave :-)

I stayed at iSlow for 3 weeks, living in the room or cabanote. It was beautifully designed! For that alone, I'd give it 10 stars. The property as a whole is very well-maintained; you can see that everything has been thought through down to the smallest detail, always taking into account the sustainability of the materials and respect for the environment. The kitchen is very spacious and offers every imaginable tool, perfect for those who love to cook. The co-working space is not only beautiful but also very functional; the internet connection is very fast and, above all, stable. The hosts, Ines and Julio, were always very helpful and warm; they made me feel at home. The accommodation is a 20-minute walk from the supermarket and the beach, making it very easy to do your shopping and even take a walk on the beach after work, perfect for a break. I will definitely be back.

This is what I call an amazing CoLiving. It’s situated in an amazing and diverse area in Spain which is perfect for nature lovers. They really live the concept of sustainability and community. I was really impressed by how beautiful iSlow is, the design, furniture, decoration… everything little details can show you how much Inês and Julio have poured their heart into iSlow. You are surrounded by nature and 15mins walk to the beach, it can’t get better than this. Living in iSlow for 3 weeks was one of the best experiences!

I had an incredible experience at this coliving space in Galicia. The pristine upkeep of the house, along with the serene and welcoming environment, made for a truly relaxing stay. The well- noise insulated rooms, top-notch bathrooms, and comfortable amenities added to the overall comfort. The on-site yoga deck and picturesque garden provided stunning views of the surrounding landscapes. The convenient access to hiking trails from the front door allowed for unforgettable adventures along the breathtaking Costa da Morte. iSlow is an absolute marvel! It took me about 1 day to feel completely at home. The whole house is so beautiful, the interior tasteful and timeless. Inés and Julio really manage to create an environment where you feel like you are staying with friends or family and within days I felt like I had known them for a long time. There is plenty of space to work in and plenty of opportunities to enjoy nature around Laxe. Will definitely be back if I can <3

The people/community I have met here for just two weeks were all friendly, easy going and the co-working was really fun, made it feel like a family. we loved our stay at islow. my wife, me and our 3 kids spent a month in this beautiful co living, surrounded by wild nature and great beaches for surfing. this place is a true gem. management is thoughtful and tasteful.

I was with my husband this July (2023) spending a few days at ISlow. We loved it! Inés and Julio are two exceptional hosts, always smiling and eager to make sure everyone was comfortable. We loved the room, the different work spaces too, the internet connection is great, and we had no trouble concentrating on work in the morning. In the afternoons, we spent time exploring the wonders of Costa Da Morte, eating well, and relaxing. We also met wonderful people in the coliving, with whom we shared breakfast and dinner in a super-friendly atmosphere. I have nothing but good things to say about this place; I would encourage everyone to try the experience. Thank you, Inés and Julio, for making it possible! Eva and Luis (Madrid).

I am a surfer and digital nomad who has been traveling up and down the European coast for many years now, but Galicia is one of the places that keeps calling me back the most. Only last year I discovered the region A Costa da Morte thanks to the beautiful Coliving iSlow which I am lucky enough to call my home now. I came here initially because of the surf but it is the nature, the people, the traditions, the food and the humble life that I value the most. I am super glad I have find Islow ! It’s a place that allows me to achieve work, live in a cool community in a wonderful house and then go surfing to an uncrowded and surrounded by nature surf spot just 5 minutes away from the house. The scenery is amazing and the vibe in the water is super chill and friendly. I feel lucky and privileged to experience this in Europe while summer is coming and good surf spots are getting more and more crowded ! Feel like I have find my secret spot :)

iSlow blew me away from the beginning: beautifully renovated stone house with the preserved history of the previous generations offers not only nice view but the warm environment created with love and mind. The house where history meets future: you can either chill at the fire place or work in the modernly equipped co-working. Or at the terrace, or in your room or in the kitchen - the thing is, you will be welcomed there as you are 24/7! The magic behind the scenes is the owners: Ines and Julio, who are the best hosts you can ask for! They are supportive, friendly, creative and make you feel as a part of the family. Rooms and common spaces are cozy, kitchen has all needed equipment (to cook tortilla, calamari, cheesecake you name it), terrace is sweet and WiFi works well!

iSlow is a home away from home: the perfect place to disconnect from the usual routine and connect with beautiful souls in an idyllic setting by the ocean and rolling hills. Inés and Julio, who run this co-living, are amazing hosts. They go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and crate a safe place where you can be your true self. The rooms are lovely and cozy, the kitchen and common areas are beautiful and spacious, the working space is modern and functional, the internet connection is fast. I have spent nearly a.month at iSlow, but would have stayed much longer if life hadn't got in the way.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at iSlow Living, a coliving space that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making me feel right at home. One of the highlights of my stay at iSlow Living was the wide range of activities that were available. I enjoyed hiking in the nearby mountains and forests, practicing yoga with the other residents, and participating in a cooking workshop where I learned how to prepare Spanish tortilla from Ines her mother. The co-working space at iSlow Living was also fantastic. It had everything I needed to be productive, including high-speed internet, comfortable chairs, and ample desk space. I particularly appreciated the peaceful and quiet environment, which allowed me to focus on my work without any distractions. Overall, I would highly recommend iSlow Living to anyone looking for a comfortable and enriching coliving experience. It was my first experience in a Coliving Center, and it was great! I'm from near Laxe, and it was still a tremendous life change. The opportunity to work remotely and live with others in this wonderful space is priceless. Julio and Inés create a fantastic community and make you feel at home in just two minutes, on time!

The owners and Laura were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we weren't familiar with the coliving concept, but it seemed fantastic. The house is amazing; everything is very modern and eco-friendly, as well as beautiful and charming.

Wonderful place where you feel at home in a place you've just arrived and where everyone treats each other like family. The house itself is a renovated old farm house which combines everything you would want from a modern home and the charm of another time. I particularly loved the view to the sea from the backyard surrounded by forest. Ines and Julio are great people who seem to have been born to host global travellers in their home of Laxe. I will be returning in the autumn and look forward to getting to know them more and discovering more of Costa De Morte.

Second, because the great attention for the small things, details, and the design that make you being calm, happy, laid back and focused - kitchen, balcony, room and co working. iSlow was my first experience with co-living/co-working and I can’t recommend it enough! The community and home Iñes and Julio created is full of love and joy. You can be as independent or integrated as you wish and experience the beauty of Galicia just minutes from the sea. I am very grateful for the experience I had and can’t wait to return!

I stumbled upon this place by a wonderful coincidence. I initially only wanted to stay for three nights, but on the first morning I realized it was so beautiful I had to stay longer. A truly fantastic concept with fantastic people. I will definitely come back. Beautiful, well-kept rooms and a wonderful family.

Paradise. I am of half the mind to leave 1 stars on here so people won't come and I can keep it all to myself. Yet I love the lovely hosts (Ines, Julio, Lois and Ame) too much to do it. The rooms are top notched, the facilities are well equipped and clean, the locale is filled with many beaches that are undisturbed, the food is out of the world. If you want to find paradise, this is it.

I had a wonderful stay in Islow. It was my first time coliving, and my expectations were definitely met. True to its name, the place invites you to completely slow down. Although I took plenty of time to relax and socialize with the other co-living members, I managed to get a lot of work done. The coworking space leaves nothing to be desired; there are large tables, a variety of high-quality desk chairs, and screens. The atmosphere is fantastic. Ines and Julio give everyone the space to be who they want to be, allowing for a good balance between communal time and me-time. The small beaches in the area are often empty and completely idyllic, so here, too, a good balance between work and leisure.

Really nice place!! I liked the friendly people, good vibes and the location. Seems like they put a lot of hard work and love for details in here…

The rooms are beautiful and impeccable, the beds are super comfortable, the kitchen fully equiped with snything you can dream of, the people are the kindest and most generous youll meet and the location is STUNNING!! We stayed for two weeks and it was amazing. The house is just WOW, thoughtfully and beautifully designed. For a coliving, there are a lot of private spaces (private rooms with private bathrooms). You can choose when to be with the community and when to have alone time. It's also kid-friendly with lots of zones for kids to play in. I'd recommend it to traveling families, but also for anyone else who's visiting Galicia.

Great place to rest, work and visit Galicia! Hosts are incredibly kinds and focused on your well being :) Highly recommend!
