From hidden river beaches to medieval towns, open-air thermal spas, wine tasting in the Rías Baixas and a trip to the Cíes Islands, Galicia has so much to offer that one month won’t be enough. 🏖️ The Miño river banks hide many sandy beaches that you can explore by yourself or with the other colivers. 🏰 Melgaço, Ribadavia and Arbo are three small medieval towns I really loved: they’re full of history, tiny museums and daily life moments you won’t find online. ♨️ Prexigueiro thermal baths are just the perfect place to unwind after a day of work. I enjoyed a 90-minute session open air under the drizzle. To my surprise, the place was a bit busier than expected, but you can call ahead to ask for quieter times (I didn’t, unfortunately). 🍷 As Laxas bodega was founded in the 70s by Doña Carmen, a true pioneer, she was one of the first women to run a winery in Galicia. Still family-run, still rooted in the same land. The tour includes a visit to the facilities, an explanation of the production process and an incredible tasting of 3 wines paired with delicious local food. 🏝️ Ever heard about Cíes Islands? A stunning, uninhabited archipelago off the coast of Galicia. Famous for the crescent-shaped Playa de Rodas, frequently hailed as one of the world’s most beautiful beaches. I went for a day trip but it’s possible to stay overnight at the campsite, which is the only accommodation available on the island. 🗺️ Growth Coliving organises regular days out, and colivers also self-organise trips together. For most self-guided activities you’ll need a car, but while there it was easy to share costs and coordinate with other colivers who drive. 🐢 Save this for your next slow travel trip to Galicia. #slowtravel #coliving #galicia

I had such an amazing experience at Growth Coliving in Galicia. I stayed there for 2 weeks and it was beyond all expectations! Everything was simply perfect 👌 , all the facilities, indoors and outdoor spaces with beautiful rooms with their own desk and bathroom, the communal spaces to work, cook, eat or relax, the garden in which we did yoga and meditation every morning and the pool we enjoyed during the warm afternoons. The beautiful walks, river swims and excursions we did…But above all, what made my time there so special was not just the comfort and beauty of the natural surroundings 🌳 🌼 💦 🌅 but the connections and friends I made there and will be looking forward to meet again, how we cooked together, the meals we ate, what we shared, our adventures, the real connection found with the locals… And, Liz and Balduino who make the heart and soul of the place 😍🥰🙏🏻✨ I highly recommend this harmonious place where you can work, relax and enjoy, alone or in good company and where all is easy. ☀️ It really felt like family. 🥰

Estuve dos semanas teletrabajando y conviviendo con Lis la coordinadora de allí y las personas que también estaban de paso y no pude pasármelo mejor. Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. Pude trabajar tranquilamente y con mucha comodidad, tienen un espacio de coworking súper completo con 2da pantalla, silla cómoda, vistas etc. También hicimos varias actividades y excursiones que te hacen sentir parte de una pequeña familia aunque sea temporal. El entorno ya de por sí es único y relajante. Perfecto si quieres hacer una especie de retiro o enfocarte en tus proyectos. A 20 min andando tienes Gym, súper, bar de confianza… por lo que aunque estás retirado tampoco estás aislado del todo. Es un equilibrio perfecto entre sentirte “perdido en medio de la naturaleza” y bueno, me apetece ir a comprar X.

Reserve por la página de Booking del 24 del 10 al 10/11, todo perfecto reserva ok, correo de bienvenida y cuando llego de Madrid un viaje largo me encuentro q el establecimiento está cerrado de hace unos meses y no contesta nadie al telefonillo y al tfno. Abro una puesta y empujo una ventana y suena la alarma, entonces al poco viene un operario q confirma q está cerrado y q la culpa es de Booking y de el no. No me ofrece ninguna alternativa para alojarme, eso si qua me devolverá los 500 euros. Q poca seriedad y falta de respeto, para nada recomendable

Acabo de volver de pasar 10 días increíbles en Growth, con mi perro. El concepto coliving llamó mi atención, pero Growth ha superado mis expectativas con creces. En principio fui allí huyendo del calor y del ruido de Madrid y lo que me encontré fue una pequeña familia de nómadas digitales que enriquecieron mis días. El sitio es acogedor, con tu habitación y baño individuales y zonas comunes donde compartes tu tiempo con gente increíble. A destacar Liz, que no puede ser más amable, y Baldu, dispuesto a llevar la experiencia al siguiente nivel, mostrándote zonas para hacer trekking, playas fluviales, y llevándote a conocer a la gente local. Sin duda una experiencia inolvidable y que tanto a Joy como yo repetiremos! Gracias

Un lugar muy recomendable en Galicia en el que trabajar y desconectar. Recomiendo 100% coche o moverse es bastante complicado salvo que alguien más disponga de él. Puedes hacer la compra online, pero para visitar cualquier sitio el transporte público no existe. La casa está genial, bien equipada y la piscina es algo que disfrutarás a más no poder. Yo pasé un muy buen mes allí!

I stayed at Growth Co-Living Galicia for about 6 weeks throughout May and June. I loved it! The scenery and setting are hard to beat. I had a private room with a private bathroom and it was quite comfortable. The co-working space was also brilliant with excellent views. I made great connections with the other residents. We had dinners together every evening during the week, and often did activities together during the weekends. Great experience!
